A single kilowatt less than the last month. I was not expecting that. lol

By the word independence, it means there was once a situation of slavery, suffering, unlawful treatments and so on but after which there comes FREEDOM and LIBERTY away from all the previous way of living that doesn't beget happiness to mankind.

Backtrack to years before 1960 when we were yet to be independent and still being colonized by the British based on history, our dear citizens suffered, worked and according to how history have it that most people that were trafficked overseas back then and didn't head back home after the whole thing are the origin of blacks among the whites like for instance Black Americans.

Nigeria then had the beauty of people of diverse tribe of over a 100 tribes but categorically Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa of diverse cultures, traditions, language, food, mode of dressing and the likes.
Though there may be a little disparity but the way we work around uniting and embracing our cultures make us distinctly recognized as a nation. 
We have philosophers, great learned people and talented who have blessed us in music, writing and other artistic skills, giving us an evergreen memory to reckoned with.

Though it's so sad that what our predecessors fought for may have still ended up happening indirectly, leaders of different level or arm of government enslaving their dear citizens to yardwork, hardship and poor economy. 
Masses are subjected to suffering from the consequences of the leaders act of corruption every day by day. 
Truthfully and sincerely, these things happens in other countries too but still they take it to heart to ensure they are doing the needful to improving the economy of their dear nations but here in Nigeria, I could say corruption eludes the mindset of executing the project list to making the nation a better place.

With no mind to banter anyone cos we are all involved in making things better but masses are really really suffering.
The rate at which we labour so hard to be able to feed ourselves and live like a normal citizen does not in anyway make us look like flock of sheep with a shepherd.
We have resources that could generate income for the nation to survive but the income is only incoming to the pockets of some individuals.

Now, it doesn't matter anymore even if there's a good president with good motive because the people in his political caliber might be an obstruction to fulfilling his good motive and making the masses to suffer more.
The only weapon they use against themselves politically is the lives of the masses for increase in poverty and insecurities with the mindset of **"if this happens then his government or regime won't get to win for 2nd term"**. We've now turned an object of games on their game of politics.

People die and do outrageous things because of hunger and poverty whereas some people are somewhere devouring the resources meant for a nation to themselves and generations to come. 
##### *Unfortunately, there is a court, verdict and prison for someone who stole bread to eat but there's none for someone who embezzles millions and billions of naira.* 
If at all, one is apprehended for eyes and mouth sake, it doesn't take a while before he or she is replaced in the prison with another person.


Remembering how people struggled to loot the palliatives originally meant for them during the COVID-19 lockdown and curfew still makes my heart cry out on what kind of people we have our lives in their hands. 
Or was it the time where some Nigeria currency notes had to be changed by dropping the old ones to the bank to receive the new ones and trucks filled with Nigeria currency notes had to be dumped somewhere 💔 because they can't take that large amount to the bank.
Suckaways and internal safelock undergrounds built in place of banks for embezzlement where people or masses are out here crying for help and a better life.... **So sad! So sad! And heartbreaking.**

However, it's still worth it that we are all here together in one voice and diverse tribe to answer the Clarion call of being a Nigerian and that is because some people fought for this freedom we have today as a country and we can vividly say that they are the true heroes and the reason why the remembrance of independence day is still relevant in our hearts today no matter what and how worse the situation of the country may have turned out to be. They remain our inspiration to move on and try further that hopefully someday things will be better.

Just like a part of the previous national anthem that says and I quote:

> The labour of our Heroes past, shall never be in vain

So even when we think things are not working out or the hardship is too much, we will never forget the ones who suffered and fought for freedom. 
We are bound as a nation in love and unity and for me, I know EMPATHY will make everything right in our nation.

From my point of view and the knowledge I have about kids even if I'm not a mother yet, I know that kids and privacy should never be a long term privilege. There should be limitations because if you leave a mad man to bury his mum all by himself, he might end up burning and roasting her to eat.

Everyone of any level of life needs privacy but when it comes to kids, they are like a clay in parents hands who are the potters. There is no way you would wanna leave a clay to mould itself without your interference as the parent or guardian, only if you just want it dry up there or eventually turn into a mess.

Most especially Kids of this generation and century, they are like the offload of all wisdom and exposure from ages past and centuries ago. 

I remember a day I was bathing for my twinnee's son and I was about brushing the side of this man's man, lol. He immediately covered it and restricted me from bathing further, telling me **"Mum2! Don't touch my kokoro"** I could not resist the laugh and I had to explain to him that we needed to bath there else it starts to smell cos of dirts and up till now he still covers it but smiling. 
It shows he want me to respect his privacy in terms of his body even as young as 3+year old which I counted as a very intelligent act cos it shows he could defend himself against any form of abuse in the absence of his parent.

Yes, they have that quick assimilation and knowledge to run things themselves but there should still be strict follow up and supervision to reduce and control their exposure to the outside world especially in this era where anything anyhow flows through the social media and internet as a whole.

No one can teach or build our children except we and that's the main reason why every tools or gadgets meant for children now has features for Parental Guidance for monitoring and limitations which shows that no matter how smart they are, we can't still leave them to the cold hands of the world.

There was a day this same baby of mine was scolded on something, he went to sit but started crying and no one begged him but later, we started hearing **"HELP ME! HELP ME!"**. We got scared and had to rush to him to see what was happening and after a few minutes, we had to beg him and stop him from crying since we were not sure of what happened for him to be shouting for help and we were so scared.
Only after then did we realize that it was something he learnt from all these cocomelon cartoons shouting HELP ME HELP ME and I was like Ohhhh My God.

What if it was not HELP ME? What if it was something bad and non-palatable that he saw on the internet and decided to put it into practice without us knowing.

Every child up to any level in life should be able to walk up to their parents and be their best friends to discuss whatsoever they have in their minds and when or if that's not happening then there might be a cause for alarm. 
Open-doors of discussion and not open-doors of exposure 
If there's to be an open-doors to living their full private life then that should be after clocking the age of 18 which still doesn't guarantee the fullness thereof privacy of no invasion by the parent.

Lastly for the prompt, I don't think there's a manual to bringing up a child or nurturing them and getting to be children we can be proud of because we are our own manual but when it comes to leaving them to take up their own private lives when it's time, then we are meant to allow-guide them to take some certain decisions of their lives and also enjoy the consequences either good or opposite.

However, it is still my opinion that there's no full privacy when it comes to kids cos we as parents are their privacy so we should be in their lives at all times.

Parental Guidance Is Advised ALWAYS 🔞🚫

Attending Hivefest 7 (Amsterdam) and Hivefest 9 (Split) and meeting all the people who make up the hive ecosystem has been the ultimate hiveXperience for me.
Each time I got a huge motivational boost which led to the participation in several projects in the hive-ecosystem, participating at different fairs, conferences and exhibitions and more endurance in living through and with the depressed hive price.

Having never been to a Hivefest outside of Europe before, it was clear to me, when HivefestX was announced by live feed while attending hive creator days in Graz, I have to go there.

Unfortunately I was only able to book the flight at a very late point of time.. hence the flight is now pretty expensive and I blew already my whole budget by booking it and making the hotel reservation.   

So poor @solarwarrior hopes to win a ticket in this giveaway so that he still can afford some lunch while being over there... ;-)

Taking care of the creative part of the requirement list: 
I thought about getting a splinterlands tattoo onto my right cheek (and consequently hivefest X onto the left one).. but given the fact, that a hivefest attendee should be of exemplary behavior - especially if the host country is deeply religious - I guess this is not such a good idea. ;-)

So question is, what is the most creative thing I did in connection to hive... aaannndd... I guess you can see it here:

So what are my hopes for attending hivefest X?
- Meet personally and get a good connection to hiveans from Asia
- Discuss the status and future of @splinterlands with the team and the fanbase (playing it since inception and having many ideas)
- to look if there is a opportunity to boost @cleanplanet project in those Asian countries that are not yet active, discussing river clean ups and barriers - there should be a huge opportunity there
- get a first hand update about @vsc.network and discover use cases / business cases  
- find more hiveans that want to take part in our very own @solarisfuture project - if you have not heard of it you can find an introduction here https://peakd.com/hive/@solarisfuture/project-solarisfuture-now-officially-launched-get-your-esg-content-curated (more to come soon)
- and last but no least trying to launch an initiative to bring (micro)- aid / help-organizations and philanthropy to the hive blockchain

The last point might require some explanation:
With the @solarisfuture project we not only want to bring renewable know-how and microfinance via our own HBD pool to Africa, Asia and South America but we also want to use it as show case for help-organizations to show them that hive would be their perfect web3 platform for their daily operations.

How is this?
Help-organizations often battle with a big overhead, long decision times, trouble getting feedback and reporting from projects and lack of feedback, responsibility and governance what actually happend with the money. Looking at the hive borehole project you can very well see, that @mcsamm and crew already have a much better reporting than many of those multi million (billion) dollar aid projects. You can actually see people using the funds for the promised action.

So why not take it a step further:
- Identifying LOCAL people that want to manage a small aid project
- Helping them get onto the hive blockchain (mobile phones everywhere)
- Discussing and optimizing of their projects and plans by the hive community
- Budgeting and project planing by blogging on hive blockchain
- Selection of project by hive-community / solarisfuture-community
- Payout of project finance with HBD ( proof 100% of all funds went to the project)
- Payout could also be step by step by issuing installments due to project progress
- Reporting of project progress on hive blog
- After finishing of project frequent blogging updates about the project and how it impacts daily live and the community
- Blogging about lessons learned to encourage and enhance next / future projects
- Paying back the project finance out of economic cash savings / earnings from the project back to @solarisfuture, so that next projects can be financed (no interest of course)
- flywheel ready to go

So the give-away would make my trip much easier and would make me really happy as I have never won anything on hive ;-) - however this ends... already very happy if you have donated your precious time and read my whole post so far..

Depression and Anxiety are two main things dealing with people invisibly but with a visible outcome of fear, sadness, suicidal attempt or execution and many other negative acts.

Supporting what brother Eli said, we can overcome these feelings of Depression and Anxiety with the help of God alongside our own willingness if we are already consumed by it.

It is understandable that situations may be bad, we may have been neglected and outcasted, we may not be where we are supposed to be or have visioned ourselves to be yet but no matter the situation we may find ourselves in, one thing should keep us going and not giving up on life which is **"my life right now is still some people's prayer request to become"**. That is, no matter how worse you may think things are, there are still people who still look up to you as been successful than them.

This popular analysis would help:
Someone flying in a private jet looks forward to someone flying to the sun for a research and wishes they have that feeling someday. Someone flying in a plane saw the private jet and wishes he could fly in a private jet someday. 
Someone in his private car seeing the plane far in the sky wishes he could fly in a plane someday whereas Someone on a motorbike saw the car passed by and wishes he could own and drive his own car of 4 wheels someday. 
Someone who rides a bicycle saw the bike and wishes to have a motorbike someday whereas Someone walking and trekking wishes to have a bicycle to ease his walking stress someday. 
Someone on a wheelchair saw the person walking with his two legs and wishes to walk on his two legs again someday AND Someone on a dying bed wishes if only he could be alive and just on the wheelchair.

In summary, never think your situation is the worse to get yourself depressed or fall into state of depression. It's better to not being there at all than looking for way out and there's only way out when victims only realizes they are really depressed because solution can only be offered to a problem 

No one's situation could actually be worse than a bigger who would expect crumbs from a rich man's table to be able to feed his tommy daily and also having dogs licking his sores. Such life! But still, he never thought of killing himself or getting to think he's living a life of woe and how amazing does it feel to you knowing that angels came to receive the body of such a man instead of the rich man's body.

Our situations now or today doesn't determine who we are or would become tomorrow so not allowing Depression or Anxiety or even taking steps to conquering them if they're already in it and also constantly talking it out to our maker and reading his word is the only solution to getting out of our foresee and unforseen problems.

Good morning friends how are we doing today, hope we all are doing good and swimming in good health Welcome to my blog for today , where I bring you this topic "social media a problem to the society"

Social media was brought out for good but due to the miss usage of majority of the individuals today it has turned to another thing else , it is now a thing of concern because many things has really gone wrong in the usage of social media , people now miss use it , use it to do many bad things and also using it as self exposure , i call it self exposure because people now expose their personal private life into social media thereby exposing themselves online to the entire world. And one disadvantage advantage of things being online is that it spread faster , very very fast and it is very difficult to retrieve.

Social media has cause alot of issues in family and in different marriages whereby any small issues one of the couple will just post it online exposing their privacy to the entire world make their family to be a general thing for outsider to intrude into their personal affairs. Even apart from married couples many of the individuals have given more of thier times to uneccessary things online base on what the see on social media. This thing social media has brain washed many of the girls that they don't reasons about reality any more all the after is what they see others do online, leaving their own life trying to emulate others on things that will never benefit them in anyway. Bring in social media to us by science and technology was never a mistake but it is now how it is being used and controlled because if i should suggest I something I will say let their be rules on the usage of social media to an extent, I think that will try make some things change for good and not really for bad. And i believe with that things will definitely get better and this exposure of privacy online will reduce because personally that particular act is really pissing me off,just imagine having a minor issues with your wife and all of a sudden you see your issues online in social media (to me i will be very upset with that).

My daughter is in class nursery and she is quite good at studying. I always encourage her to study and talk about learning to draw along with her because it is important to study something good along with studying. Education is the backbone of the nation. Along with this education, training in various good works and other things also plays a very important role in every person. It is important for every child to study because the importance of this study in the future is immense.

My daughter makes various promises to focus on her studies and I tell her and demand that after completing her studies, I will fulfill all your promises. I notice that in this way my daughter starts studying very well and she can be very focused on her studies. Because I think it is more important for a child to receive all kinds of education for a good future, but that education should be good and should be directed towards good deeds. People can learn a lot from mistakes in every work they do. I notice that my daughter draws very beautifully along with her studies and she can draw very beautiful pictures of plants. When I notice this, I think that besides studying every day, I should also learn to draw occasionally.

It's so beautiful to see the little ones' hand drawings. Drawing is also an art and it's something you have to learn slowly. You can't do anything quickly. It takes time and a lot of talent. When my daughter first drew a picture, it was really strange to see, but it was also very beautiful because not being able to do something at first is a little more beautiful and remains as a memory for her.

Besides studying three days a week, I teach my daughter to draw pictures. This talent can be useful to her in the future and can brighten her future path. Every day brings something good in life. Learning to draw well while studying!

Pain is not something we can bear when it happens and we have every right to feel bitter. Sometimes, not even others but we don't want to leave those who cause us those pains but to make sure we give them a pay back to taste in what they did to us but unfortunately we may end up hurting ourselves the more. Most especially when the law of karma fails to do it's work.

When my workshop got burnt right before my eyes, it felt like the whole world was against me at that moment and I could not resist the pain that came with it. I cried and shouted till my voice left me and seeing my machines after the fire was put off and everything becoming stiff, all my customers clothes of high prices and low prices in ashes, opened roof due to the fire brought my spirit of getting back to my feet to zero.

I had the idea of the cause afterwards that it was a silly mistake from one of my apprentice but instead of passing on the pain to them because they are the cause of the terrible experience, we worked together to gather the remnants and I started to think of a way forward.
Probably because I wasn't treating them harsh because of the incident, God made a way of renovating my shop to better than before and my machines coming back to life with new one joining.

Passing our pain to others is a great mistake anyone can think of doing because it doesn't provide solution but add to the pain because we would always still make references back to how we were hurt too which will keep our wounds open and fresh without healing and at the end of everything we will realize that we only kept on destroying ourselves.

We may think it is a way of taking our revenge but indirectly, we are dipping ourselves more in the pool of bitterness and destruction.
I saw a movie sometime ago, where the mother never treats the daughter right. She was always treating her bad like she was not her real or biological mother and all attempts by the child to get her mother's love and attention turned out to be nothing.
The only place she got attention and care was from her stepfather. When the mother fails to giver her what she needs materially or emotionally, stepfather was always there to give it to her in excess without hiding it from the mother and the mother still complains of spoiling her.

Unknowingly to the mother that her husband always sleeps with her daughter whenever she is not around. Aside that, he took her into his dirty business of drug dealings and in the long run the girl got so addicted to the point of running mad and also got apprehended by the police. All secrets got out during investigation and that was when the mother realized the harm she had done to herself and her child.

The thrilling part was the cause of her mistreating the child was due to the fact the her biological father which was her ex-husband inflicted pain on her and made her suffer till she decided to leave him so seeing the child's face always make her remember the father and the sufferings she went through in his hands. She regretted it so badly but it was too late for her to make amends.

In conclusion, Holding onto our pain will not allow us to see the good that awaits us or the good people that are next to appear in our lives. Living on our pain will only blindfold us from seeing that and as soon as we decide to pass on the pain to others then we have the blame on ourselves and no longer those who caused us pain before.

Good morning to you all friends hope our night or day was good, depending on your location time zone . Welcome to my blog for today and today I have time and determination as my topic for today .

Determination plus time you are good to go , yeah this two things are really precious and needs to be be tread with care and discipline. When you discipline yourself over this two things "time and determination" my dear you will achieve more than enough , that in which you never expected will be achieve. Determination is good the reason is because when you are determined to get something you will do everything possible to make sure you get to that in which you have been planning and another things is time , is true that time waits for no one but when someone is determined to achieve success it will only take you time but with you determination you will get that. Time is very precious though that's very true but sometimes when we think the time has gone that we have missed it that is when the long awaiting expectations do surface and by that time sometime it comes like a surprise and magic that we ourselves will be like is this really real or am i dreaming, why this questions is because in our various mind we have lose hope thinking that time has gone and everything is gone. That is why is is not good to lose hope , even in the field of play a club never lose hope even if they are losing a match they can never lose hope till the final whistle of the referee which we will show the the end of the match , even sometimes after ending the match video assistant referee (VAR) can still call back the game and give a penalty or a free kick shout out , so no time is late , you can still start somewhere . Is just like as December is approaching many will be huzling to meet up while some will be like since I have not made anything till this time no need of me stressing myself. NO TIME IS LATE THE MAIN THING IS DETERMINATION, JUST HAVE THAT DETERMINATION YOU WILL SEE THINGS WORK ACCORDING TO TIME.

Good evening friends how are we doing today, hope we all are swimming in good health under the wonderful a d enjoyable atmosphere of these days . Still you friend #kc6729 also known as MORE A man of responsibility.

I welcome you all today in which i will be writing on that topic happiness. This is a very wonderful topic because we all needs it o yes we need it , we all need happiness to keep ourselves moving no matter the condition we found ourselves, some see themselves in a condition where they see themselves into thinking so many things, some even reach to the extent of thinking to commit suicide and this is why we need to be checking on people to know how the are going. No matter the condition we see ourselves on as much that there is life things will keep changing, change is one thing that is always permanent so things will keep changing all we need to do is to pray and focus then expect the best. Happiness is very good we need to. E keeping ourselves very happy always and with that your will see yourself forgetting so many sorrowful things, it is very good to live a life of happiness, happiness can bring you to zero worries making you be strong to face the reality of life since we cannot run from it rather we have to find means to settle things to our own way.

Life is not all about struggling and looking for money always and when it doesn't get to that our expectations it will be as if the world has end, they ground open so you enter and end it (that is just some People's thinking) and that is very very bad. Once once hangout with friends or if you are not a group outing type , still on still take yourself out and feel very happiness, you have to make yourself happy because no matter anything in life your happiness matters, if you don't know , know it now that you think about your happiness and this is why you have to put yourself first above every other thing because you deserve it ,so giving yourself a special time and treatment can never be a bad thing and can never be a thing of regret.

That’s why it’s best to start the day with a light breakfast. When my son wakes up, he usually doesn’t want to eat anything, not even light snacks. Since he’s a little kid, he can be a bit mischievous and refuses to eat anything at times. But when I make this particular snack, he enjoys it very much.
