In a true Democracy?

Yes, and no.

In a true Democracy it's not against the rules to buy the hearts of people with money to vote for you, or so I think, but not manipulate the results/judges to give advantage.

Though I'm speaking black and white here. It should be nuanced.

I think absolutely if it uses capitalism. The amount of money thrown at the decision making process is outweighing the "value" of the vote. It's creating a huge economic disparity within the voting process and that is not beneficial for a democracy.

Yes. In China, they have a class project to vote for the class leader. Kids parents go to extremes to have their kids win. Usually, the richer ones that have the best gifts do. But in the US, I think it’s more about media control. What about you? !ALIVE !PIZZA
