Roca project
I'm loving the podcast scene in the YouHive community. Here's my third post recommending another of my favorite podcast channels. I haven't been able to attend any events this week, and the movies I've seen lately haven't been inspiring, so I'll continue suggesting the podcasts I listen to or watch on YouTube.
This time, I'll talk about Roca Projet. This podcast is very new; it's only been active for a year, the same amount of time I've been following it. It appeared among YouTube's suggestions with its first episodes. One of them featured Dr. Manuel Sans, a doctor who has appeared on almost every podcast talking about near-death experiences. That episode is excellent. Although I don't believe much in spirituality, it's a pleasure to listen to this doctor and his experiences with patients and research on the subject.
The podcast is hosted by Carlos Roca; he's an audiovisual communication professional, and it shows. There's a podcast boom, with many people creating, and he decided to take this project seriously. Being the creator, a professional in this field, the technical and image quality is top-notch. I love the set he uses to film with the guests. If I had a show like this, I'd love a similar decor. It creates a fantastic atmosphere so all viewers can enjoy every episode.
Me está encantando el tema de los podcasts en la comunidad YouHive. Aquí va mi tercera publicación recomendando otro de mis canales de podcasts favoritos. No he podido ir a ningún evento esta semana y las películas que he visto últimamente no me han motivado, así que seguiré sugiriendo los podcasts que escucho o veo en YouTube.
Esta vez, hablaré de Roca Projet. Este podcast es muy nuevo; solo lleva un año en activo, el mismo tiempo que lo sigo. Apareció entre las sugerencias de YouTube con sus primeros episodios. Uno de ellos tuvo como invitado al Dr. Manuel Sans, un médico que ha aparecido en casi todos los podcasts hablando de experiencias cercanas a la muerte. Ese episodio es excelente. Aunque no creo mucho en la espiritualidad, es un placer escuchar a este médico y sus experiencias con pacientes e investigaciones sobre el tema.
El podcast lo presenta Carlos Roca; es un profesional de la comunicación audiovisual, y se nota. Hay un boom de podcasts, con muchísima gente creando, y el decidio tomarse este proyecto en serio. Al ser el creador, un profesional en ese campo, la calidad técnica y de imagen es de primera. Me encanta el set que usa para grabar con los invitados. Si tuviera un programa como este, me encantaría una decoración similar. Crea una atmósfera fantástica para que todos los espectadores podamos disfrutar de cada episodio.
Roca Projet is also known for the quality of its guests. Once again, I had a hard time selecting which episodes to recommend. In the end, I settled on two that address important topics related to human behavior.
The first, which I hope you'll watch and enjoy, was the episode starring Izanami Martínez. She's an anthropologist who gives lectures and is successful on social media. She's a woman who knows how to manage her image very well; it's impossible not to be seduced by her way of communicating. It's undoubtedly something she's perfected over time, and this episode is fabulous for the topics it covers: human attraction, relationships, love, and desire.
Even Roca seemed completely captivated by the conversation he had with her and listening to the answers to his questions. Here, the guests also speak calmly, but when Roca becomes passionate about a topic, he asks more questions because he, too, wants to know more. The guest is Christian and preaches the word of her religion on social media. Roca asks her about this topic, but it's almost at the end of the episode. I skipped that whole part because I prefer to ignore religious matters. I don't give a damn what other people believe or what religion they practice. I just ask that they leave me alone and don't try to convince me of anything.
Roca Projet también es conocido por la calidad de sus invitados. Una vez más, me costó mucho seleccionar los episodios que recomendaría. Al final, me decidí por dos que abordan temas importantes relacionados con el comportamiento humano.
El primero, que espero que vean y disfruten, fue el episodio protagonizado por Izanami Martínez. Es una antropóloga que se dedica a dar conferecnias y tiene éxito en redes sociales. Es una mujer que sabe gestionar muy bien su imagen; es imposible no dejarse seducir por su forma de comunicar. Sin duda, es algo que ha perfeccionado con el tiempo, y este episodio es fabuloso por los temas que aborda: atracción humana, relaciones, amor y deseo.
Incluso Roca parecía completamente cautivado por la conversación que tuvo con ella y por escuchar las respuestas a sus preguntas. Aquí, los invitados también hablan con calma, pero cuando Roca se apasiona por un tema, hace más preguntas porque él también quiere saber más. La invitada es cristiana y predica la palabra de su religión en redes sociales. Roca le pregunta sobre este tema, pero ya casi está al final del episodio. Toda esa parte me la salte, porque prefiero ignorar los asuntos religiosos. Me importa un bledo lo que crean los demás o la religión que practiquen. Solo les pido que me dejen en paz y que no intenten convencerme de nada.
The second recommended episode features another star guest: Juanma García. He was a Civil Guard member (I think he still is), but now makes more money giving lectures and consulting, in addition to writing books. His specialty is behavioral science, and he's said in every podcast he's participated in that he had the opportunity to receive FBI training. I see this man on every podcast. The subject he masters is something that has always intrigued and fascinated me. There are techniques to detect when someone is truly interested in what you're talking about, and they're true. By putting them into practice, we realize how the other person unconsciously gives us clues.
I'd like to add that Juanma García's physical and image transformation is incredible. If you see a photo of what he looked like about 10 years ago, you won't recognize him. Even his way of dressing has changed, and it's clear that everything has been studied to enhance his personal brand and adapt to changing times. He applies marketing techniques along with his experience in behavioral science.
There are other episodes with extraordinary guests, but I hope these two I recommend will motivate you to check out other episodes of the podcast. It's worth it. Let me know what you think in the comments.
El segundo episodio recomendado presenta a otro invitado estrella: Juanma García. Fue guardia civil ( creo que todavia lo es), pero ahora se gana mas dinerillo dando conferencias y consultoría, además de escribir libros. Su especialidad son las ciencias del comportamiento y ha dicho en todos los podcasts en los que ha participado, tuvo la oportunidad de recibir formación del FBI. Veo a este hombre en todos los podcasts. El tema que domina es algo que siempre me ha intrigado y apsaionado. Hay técnicas para detectar cuándo alguien está realmente interesado en lo que estás hablando, y son ciertas. Al ponerlas en práctica, nos damos cuenta de cómo la otra persona nos da pistas inconscientemente.
Quisiera añadir que la transformación física y de imagen de Juanma García es increíble. Si ves una foto de cómo era hace unos 10 años, no lo reconocerás. Incluso su forma de vestir ha cambiado, y es evidente que todo ha sido estudiado para potenciar su marca personal y adaptarse a los nuevos tiempos. Aplica técnicas de marketing junto con su experiencia en ciencias del comportamiento.
Hay otros episodios con invitados extraordinarios, pero espero que con estos dos que recomiendo, los motive a ver otros episodios del podcast. Vale la pena. Cuéntenme su opinión en los comentarios.
