When I was still working, I usually ate breakfast at six in the morning. Nope, not only coffee or bread but rice. Yes, it was heavy as my mind couldn't function well if I am starving. My lunchtime would be at eleven, not exceeding twelve.
Thus, since I became a Mom, eating pastime has become normal. Yes, I know that I should be eating ON TIME but since some of you may know that I'm alone taking care of my son that's too impossible.
Your child is now a toddler, still can't eat on time?
On some days, I enjoyed my meal but not all the time. Mostly, it's lunchtime. I could eat past twelve noon to one in the afternoon. I never knew that I could live on just a cup of coffee and bread that long.
Especially these past weeks since my son Caleb is teething, molars. As I checked today, there are three teeth that erupt. He was so fussy and barely slept at noon.
How I survive the day? Let me give you a glimpse like today.
Timestamp: 10:25 in the morning and finally after being awake since 5:30 he slept.
Yes I am carrying him. He's been like these for weeks. Previously, he would just sleep on his own.
I place him on the bed and prepare my meal. Just reheat it on the stove while sweeping.

At 11:06, I was supposed to eat, literally to start eating. Fortunately, I successfully put him back to sleep BUT;
It's hard to leave the bed. Everytime I moved, or put his feet down, he would wake up and cry.
After several attempts, it was still unsuccessful and I see how those chubby legs are forbidding me to do so.
I could already feel my tummy growling, hands shaking due to hunger 🤣.
Why not let him wake up and let tagged along while I'm eating?
My fellow mother's would understand me, not letting a toddler sleep when they are sleepy would just end up more chaos later.
12:17, when I finally left our bed and ate lunch quickly. No time to savor my food as I know he will be awake again after a few minutes.
My instinct was right as at 12:54 I was chatting to @asiaymalay had he been awake again.
Being a Mom is no easy job as there are a lot of sacrifices and you need to compromise. I was just thankful that my husband was always supportive in any way or else I might lose my sanity 🤣. However, seeing our child grow healthy, every smile, hug and hearing them laugh was enough to recharge our strength.
