Most of the summoners that we play with are rare. When we get them up to level 3 we can pair them with level 4 commons, level 3 rares, level 2 epics and level 2 legendary monsters.

I think these are some of the most impactful fire monsters from Conclave Arcana to start leveling up if you happen to have some level 3 rare summoners to pair them with. These upgrades will also work if you have level 2 legendary summoners, level 2 epic summoners or level 4 common summoners.

At level 4 Vicious Giraffe picks up a 5th health which means more when you it has the potential to get more dangerous each turn thanks to the painforge ability.

At level 2 Oridum Graybrow picks up the resurgence ability. It's almost as good as putting 2 copies of a solid card onto the battlefield.

Inept Healer picks up the corrupted healting ability at level 2. The more that I've had a chance to play with this ability, I think it's even stronger than self healing or tank healing.

All of the cards that I discussed in today's post are legal in modern (being from Conclave Arcana). If you start to level these cards up remember that they will revert to a lower level if you play them with a lower level summoner.

I would love to hear what some of your favorite cards are to level up. I'll keep pointing out the ones I can. Another great place to find them is the cards that you get beat by on the battlefield.

For any of you who might be new to making posts for the social media challenge or who had stepped away for a while. This can be a great way to get involved in the Splinterlands community. The upvotes from the Splinterlands curators can go a long ways towards keeping your collection competitive. There are some recent updates to their curation rules that are worth noting:

Word Count. There is a 600 word cutoff which is relevant for me. Several of my recent posts were right around that cutoff, some were a little over and some were a little under. One of our manual curators pointed it out for me. I was grateful for the upvote and the explanation.

Community Commitment. "To ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the Hive ecosystem, we will evaluate the long-term commitment of participants when selecting winners. Specifically, we will review past rewards earned and currently held Hive Power (HP) as part of the selection process.

Participants who demonstrate an investor mindset by holding and growing their HP are more likely to be rewarded. Those who consistently extract all rewards without reinvesting into the ecosystem may not be eligible for prizes.

This rule aims to celebrate and encourage commitment to the Hive blockchain, fostering a strong and engaged community." 
TLDR. If you're a little bit of an OG like I am who has been stacking your SPS and your hive power for a couple of years, you're still likely to get curated. If you've been cashing out all of your earnings within the ecosystem or doing stuff like farming, the curators can easily see that you only have 40 SPS staked and hive power of 3. You're not going to get curated. To say that farming is not encouraged would be an understatement. We are strictly prohibited from using multiple accounts to farm rewards in these weekly challenges.

This week I just purchased another batch of $SURGE coin. But why?

Well, my 60 Hive translates to 15 $SURGE because they trade at 4 Hive : 1 SURGE.

1 Surge pays out $0.15 annually or 0.00288 HBD each week. 

Does the math work out? I purchased 9.19 last week so I should get 0.0265 HBD. I actually got 0.026. Math works perfectly.

Now that I have 24.153? I'm expecting to get 0.069 HBD next week.

Here's the fun part. The $0.15 is based on what HIVE was when the issued the token.

Current Hive value : 0.193
4x per Surge : $.772 to buy one $SURGE
.15/.772 --> 19.43% return

How can I pass up a return over 19%? That's better than the HBD staking 15% and surge pays weekly in liquid HBD instead of monthly in staked HBD.

Now of course I want to be able to use the weekly payout to actually figure out what I would buy. Unfortunately 0.026 HBD is too small to buy anything useful. Or is it?

### What to buy with 0.026 cents (0.04 Canadian).

Well, 1	Kwh of power is 12 cents. 4 cents would buy me 300 Wh worth of power. That's enough to charge my phone each day for a week.

So... There you have it. Surge paid for this weeks cellphone electricity bill.

Yeah, I know its tiny. But every week the amount I get will increase and in time? It may actually buy something measurable. But for now? I'm just happy to get a little regular stream of income. Next week? What would I buy with a dime? Hahaha... stay tuned.

Hello family. 

It's been a great weekend for me. I trust it was for you too.

Here is my reflection for the week's lessons. I hope it blesses you. 


You see, sometimes, we forget what we learn because we don't take the time to reflect deeply so that the lesson will sink in and produce the necessary fruit for godliness and honour to God. 

This past week, the lessons, especially the topics of Reasons To Believe in God (part 1 and 2), have given me a newperspective and insight into my knowledge and understanding of the book of Psalms 53 vs 1 which says: 
>The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

The New Living Translations puts it this way:
>Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!

Bro Eli made us understand that irrespective of religion, any human being with a functioning brain and mind knows that there is God. This knowledge was intricately wired into the thinking faculty of humanity. God is inevitable. 

Those who say they don't believe in God do not engage their own minds or faculties of perception with the overwhelming evidence of creation around us. It is actually foolish not to use one's mind in reasoning. So, denying that there is God is such a foolish thing to do.

But according to the Bible, the fool isn't just one who openly declares that there is no God. It is the one “who says in his heart”. Only God can search the heart, and it is He alone who knows who said in their hearts that there is no God. 

We too can tell by the evidence of corruption and evil actions. No one who denies God in their heart can do any good. God is the inspiration for holiness and godly living, both for the religious and irreligious. 

So while we have every reason to believe in God, we must keep those reasons close to our hearts lest at any time we are tempted to say in our hearts that there is no God.
