The day most of us have been waiting for has come and gone, but we are still feeling the vibration because the system has come to stay!!

We have been working towards the Spendhbd Workshop in Warri [Delta State Nigeria], below is a brief report because more report will be coming in, in respect to this event.

It's 1st October, a day we have been waiting for as proposed. During the hour of 7am, the media team went with us from the hotel were we lodged to the venue for the event which is [KIDS TOWN](https://maps.app.goo.gl/cL8t15QjnboEv3pUA) to start setting up their equipment.

A few minutes later, @smartcloud whom we appointed to be the Delta-Squad Warri zonal leader, came with some new recruit which will be working with us in onboarding users. Upon their arrival, @calebmarvel24 who is the Delta-Squad Leader decided to go and address them in respect of the event.



We didn't know that 1st October was the festival of Ejjedo quarters in Warri and that was were Kids Town is located, so we didn't get much personal on time due to the law that guide that quarter. It was said that no business should open during the day. Other business were shot down but the CEO of kids Town told them that she was not informed in time about the festival and she has already planned her event, so she can't close her business.


In summary, we got few persons that came out during the afternoon section of the day down to the evening section and we successfully onboarded the total number of 21 users.

It was not up to what we were expecting, but we appreciate their cooperation and how they embraced the system. This calls for more efforts from the Delta Squad team, to be organized weekly workshop to teach them more about the system and the hive Blockchain/web in general.

Our delegate from Asaba which is our Headquarter will be staying till Sunday although it was not planned that way, but for the sake of mentorship and more person that will be visiting kid's town during the weekend for relaxation and shopping, they need to stay behind to introduce the system to as many that will be coming.

## Hive Price Update and Market Vibes

We dove into the current state of Hive's price, which has dipped a bit lately. It's sitting around 17.5 cents, the lowest we've seen in a while, but not the absolute bottom from last year. Some folks are panicking and selling, while others are scooping it up, especially to convert to #HBD for that sweet 15% interest. We reminisced about past pumps and hoped for more action from Korean exchanges or upcoming events. ## Cool Updates on Hive and Community Projects

One of the highlights was the new feature on Hive @Keychain: you can now generate new keys with just one click if they're compromised. It's a game-changer for security, especially if you notice weird transactions or shared keys by mistake. You do need your master key for it, but it's way easier than before. We also spotted @elmerlin powering down almost everything. Maybe he's investing elsewhere, who knows? On a brighter note, big congrats to @themarkymark for nearly reaching his goal on his DHF Proposal. It's awesome seeing devs like him and deliver real work before getting funded through #DHF. This trend reduces risks and shows actual progress. His tool lets non-devs peek into Hive transactions for more transparency, which we all stand for. Go check out his proposal and vote!

## Broader Topics and Upcoming Events

We shifted gears to bigger world issues, like the push for digital IDs in Europe. It feels like a step toward too much control, tracking everything we do online and off. We're worried about losing #freedom and #privacy, comparing it to systems in other countries. It's like handing over your master key to the government! We praised countries like Poland and Hungary for protecting their borders and culture amid #migration waves. Things are changing fast, and it's weird seeing our home countries feel so different. 

- On the #Hive side, @LeoDex just added perpetual trades without KYC, making it accessible for everyone, not just pros on centralized exchanges. That's their strength: solid trading tools. 

- Don't miss the AMA on October 2nd at 7 PM German time with MEXC and @detlev. It is a German exchange folks, where you can trade Hive with Solana and USDT. There's a contest with 500 Hive and 100 USDT up for grabs via Gleam.

In respect to our scholarship program, we visited Hopefield Academy to pay for the fee of some kids we promised to pay during their graduation ceremony before closing the previous term.

Mr Martins Nnabdi's daughter was the first beneficiary of the scholarship program in Hopefield Academy, that we took care of her tuition fee which was N70500 "HBD 47.135".

He was very happy about @thedistriator project which is the spendhbd system and he also pleaded with the Delta-Squad team and the school management if they can host a workshop to educate all the parents of Hopefield Academy about the system.

It's a beginning of another brand new month, September is finally over. Here some things i have learnt in the month of September. 

-The Act Of Consistency 

Consistency has always been a challenge for me right from the moment i joined hive. I use to have a tight schedule, i kept making excuses for myself, i don't put in any effort, it was so bad to the extent that i won't make a post in a whole week. I had to add creating content on hive to my schedule, so far it has been a wonderful journey so far.

-Hive staking streak

Powering up or staking hive is a way of adding value to the blockchain, aside from adding value, you get to save your hive and increase your hive power HP. Last month, i was Consistently staking my hive, i kept powering up my hive at least 1 hive each day. It really helped me so much, i was able to reach 1k HP, i have been stuck at 800 HP for a while, but with Consistency, i was able to get to 100HP in the space of 2 month, progress isn't it? Of course it is, and I don't see myself backing out, I'm gonna continue my daily hive streak this month of October. 

-Micro blogging 

Creating short but quality content. Micro blogging on hive is so much fun, you could literally say anything happening in your day, take pictures of it and talk about it. Mirco blogging also helps to engage with other people, you get to learn some things from their short content. Personally, i have learnt a lot  since i started being active creating short content, especially on ecency waves.

Before now, i use to be inactive on ecency waves, not until last month i decided to make 10 short content on ecency waves,  i got a lot of comments and engagement, since then i just couldn't stop creating short content and engaging with other people's content as well. Consistency pays off honestly,  the first week i tried being active on ecency wave, i was amongst the top 4 active users on the leader board, i was rewarded with..4 Hive, 500 ecency points and 100 ecency point.  This is great, isn't it? This is exactly what Consistency can do.

<center>  My Goals For The Month </center>

This month, I'm going to double my efforts. I'm currently at 1k HP,  i want to power up at least 100 Hive before the months ends, it's not too difficult, if i could do it last month ,I'm very sure with the same effort i and consistency, i will be able to do it this month. 

I also want to create at least 15-20 short content everyday, this is something I'm challenging myself to do and i know with consistency, i will ba able to reach my goals.  Hopefully, by the end of the month, I'm gonna give an update on my goals for the month.

Hive Echo #35 - Share your Stats from 22 to 26 September!

Hello hivers, it's a new week and as usual, we are working on our hive project, sharing our progress and making new plans for the week. I want to share my power up journey and progress made. I have been seeing different people mentioning power up in their posts, but l never really thought much about it, most likely because of my limited activity on hive back then. But when we got some information about the crowd power up and its benefits, I took time to go through all the posts pertaining to that and came to fully understanding what I was missing out by not powering up before now.

**How I started** 
I joined the crowd power up by staking 7 hive which was the least expected as a team at the end of the week. I was very happy when l did and was able to share my entry at the end of my first week.  For the next week, I decided to do at least 1 hive daily. Then we got a message about acquiring and staking hive now that there is a dip, I confirmed the benefits and decided to do same in order to be able to power up regularly.

My HP us growing and I know this is just the beginning of great progress to come. I will keep to my goals of powering up, creating short and long form contents and engaging with different posts on hive.

Hello everyone,  so sorry is coming a bit late because I post on the 30th of September but couldn't upload 
This is regarding the first hive event that took place on the 1st October 2025 in warri delta state Nigeria https://hive.blog/hive-106130/@delta-squad/up-coming-spendhbd-workshop-1st yes prior to that event the onboarding team did s pre training in preparation to onboard new clients who would do purchase. Team was trained on how to register new members on the spendhbd and the checkinwith frontend 
And its was wonderful,  although during event the rain actually disturbed a bit but still,  it was a stepping stone

We've arrived at Warri Delta State in respect to the spendhbd workshop that is gonna be going live in less than 14 hours from now. it has been raining since morning but it didn't stop us from moving down here.
