Hello everyone, so sorry is coming a bit late because I post on the 30th of September but couldn't upload 
This is regarding the first hive event that took place on the 1st October 2025 in warri delta state Nigeria https://hive.blog/hive-106130/@delta-squad/up-coming-spendhbd-workshop-1st yes prior to that event the onboarding team did s pre training in preparation to onboard new clients who would do purchase. Team was trained on how to register new members on the spendhbd and the checkinwith frontend 
And its was wonderful, although during event the rain actually disturbed a bit but still, it was a stepping stone

The Hive project is a blogging platform and hard fork of the Steem social blockchain, which can also be used to develop decentralized applications.

Hive aims to increase the decentralization of the former Steem blockchain, as the company’s dominance of the Steem network and its governance voting increased after the Tron Foundation acquired Steem, which caused fear and reduced user trust.

The Hive project allows users to write articles and store them on the Hive blockchain without changes, and in return for this content production, they receive Hive Dollars as a reward. The platform’s other tokens are HIVE (the platform’s liquidity token) and Hive Power. Hive Power represents the user’s influence on the network (posts and comments), and holders of this token can also receive editorial rewards.

 The Hive blockchain implements an inflationary mechanism with an annual interest rate of 9.5%, which reaches 0.95% over 20.5 years. The inflation rate decreases at a rate of 0.01% per 250,000 blocks (about 0.5% per year). 65% of the inflation goes to the authors and editors, 15% to shareholders, 10% to block producers, and 10% to Hive funds. 

The Hive team consists of 30 core developers, many of whom are former Steem network members, and an additional 80 people are involved in external development of the blockchain. The Hive team believes that anyone who is interested can help advance the blockchain, as the future direction of the Hive blockchain is determined by public consensus.

Here we go with another business that has been listed under @thedistriator business section on the hive Blockchain.

About a week ago, we posted about the [spendhbd workshop](https://hive.blog/hive-106130/@delta-squad/up-coming-spendhbd-workshop-1st) that will be taking place at **[Kidstown](https://maps.app.goo.gl/igacDFSyM5ytTKdx9)** which is located at Warri Delta State Nigeria, we are still on the preparation and a few days ago we decided to visit Kidstown to list them on chain.

We left Asaba Delta State to Warri on Tuesday morning, which took us more than 4 hours on the road due to hold up and other delays in park.

We went with @sveesmedia so that he will help to and the payment method on their system.

It was a rainy day and upon our arrival at kids Town, we took some drinks and biscuits as we relaxed in the bar section to wait for the management.

On the pictures about, you will see how beautiful and nice kids Town looks like.

Upon the arrival of the CEO, we explained in details how the spendhbd system works and the positive impact it is going to bring to his business in a long run. They were amazing and gave us the go ahead to list Kids Town.

After the listing exercise, sveesmedia help to include HBD payment method to their system so that when ever anyone wants to make a purchase, the cashier can easily select the payment method either Naira or HBD and it will be enter on their records.

After the list calebmarvel24 who was with us decided to make a purchase to confirm the system, but he was unable to get the cashback due to the world limit that was set on the cashback system, we would like to plead with @thedistriator team, @starkerz, if they can increase the limit on the 1st of October because of the spendhbd workshop. So that people may see the need to use the system because it's gonna be their first time and so many people may like to test and see how true is the spendhbd system.

We will also educate them that the system has a daily limit, so that they don't get twisted if they purchase and don't get their cashback. We know that with time, things are going to get more cool even as we look forward for more ways distriator will be having more funds.

* **Go to your browser and click on the search 🔎 menu**

* **At this point, you need to make sure the keychain is installed as an extension on your browser in your PC or if you are using mobile device, you can download it from playstore or click on the browser options below.**

* **download your keys**

* **At this point, your onboarder is going to scan the QR code with his hive keychain if he is with you, or you can sent it to him, then he will copy it and paste on the browser in his keychain if he is using a hand/cell phone.**

* **Click on the browser in your keychain if you are using mobile/cell phone**

* **Paste the link of the QR code on the search 🔎 section**

* **At this point, you are about to create an account for a friend which you are to delegate 30 RC and click on "3 Hive" to create the account**

* **confirm the payment and that's all**

* **At this point, the person that is creating the account will now copy his "master key" and save it in a safe place**

**Note**

If you lost your master key at this point, that account is gone. So please, carefully copy it and save in any safe place.

Honestly , it has been awhile as i flash back to early days with ny late grandma . Like i told my neighbors my grandmother would carry me on her back cos I use to cry alot so would back me and go farming. Her favourite crop was cassava abd then maize popularly known as corn

So she farms cassava year in year out cos cassava is used to processed one of most eaten food in Nigeria and i may Africa as a whole , it's called garri which can be eaten dry , socked in water or maked what we the delta's calls eba. Eba is eaten with soup and usually swallowed 

So then she farms cassava to feed grandchildren and send some garri to her children in the cities. I grew up knowing how to farm and process cassava into garri, i actually stopped cos i had attend higher institutions and ny grandma was actually too old for farming she was 80s and was still still farming 

How time has gone by! Seeing my neighbors doing the chores i decided to assist abd catch some fun with it.
