@detlev just solved the mic stuff (questions to hear from audience) - would love to see the presentation by André - was really interesting -and also the full movie somewhere :-) @lordbutterfly
Re panel discussion @detlev - André has no Hive account?
Had a question or remark: I think Blockchain is not dead yet but a shaky area aparet from BTC, AI and web 4 is cool construct - think AI can finally help Blockchain and vice versa - I do not see NFTs moving up though - had a trend phase 3-4 years ago but doubt the potential. What has changed in vlaue of NFTs in the last years?
Adding:
We do not need a killer application, we need adoption for real life use cases that helps society and people - I wrote about that 6/7 years ago already on LinkedIn :-)
Another comment (no idea who reads it or is interested :-).
Yes - there were good trends in blockchain by BMW, Samsung and big players 3 or 4 years ago - we got a political election via blockchain i think in Estonia - but indeed complicated, entry level difficult and normal people do not understand BUT I had first client in AI 10 years ago - no one understood anything - now it matured.
yeah - we are back and YES YES @detlev - pass on my questions / comments to the speakers I commented :-)
Nice, to see you around live again... even if remotely.
Keep @lordbutterfly next to you... I would be WAY worse... explaining this.
Having people who can bridge these ways of explaining stuff, depending on the crowd, is major. Something I would say, unique. I don't want to judge him because I know I would do worse... way worse.
So, finding people like @lordbutterfly that can help with these things on hive... is like mega. 🙏
It is... I found myself in the beginning days of steem very hard to explain to people many things here in Wellington. And because 90% of the people are only looking for $$$$, they lose interest.
I think the trick will be either to simplify things to the point of users being able to use simple click here and do that, apps, and then slowly make users learn the "advanced" mode.
That might result in "bad results" for many users... as simplifying sometimes introduces risks or exploiting ability. Hence, why is to damn hard for people to understand secure blockchain stuff.
I am going for some outside air, see you later.
