It sounds like a fun trip, and cleaning up the environment is always nice. I think people tend to clean the area where they walk, so the places a bit more out of the way will have more trash. It's weird how people just throw things over the fence.

I suppose that people who clean the area didn't check out the space "over the fence" and that's why there was trash there... It is a bit inaccessible part, and understandably, not everyone is comfortable going there to pick trash... That's what you see behind us are treetops... Which means height of over 4-5 meters...
