Saludos, comunidad, feliz jueves para todos. El día de ayer tuve que salir a realizar unas compras a la farmacia, y al bajar a la planta baja del edificio me conseguí con unos vecinos, que estaban viendo los videos de la colocación de los lanzacohetes rusos en Caracas. Uno de los vecinos, que es adepto a la posición política de la oposición, comenzó a hablar tonterías del gobierno, de los militares, la milicia y atacaba todo lo que planteaba el gobierno, defendiendo las políticas de Trump y la amenaza que hizo de un posible bombardeo. Lo cierto es que el resto de los vecinos y vecinas, tanto opositores como los que están a favor del gobierno, se comieron vivo al vecino que estaba hablando. Y me dio mucha risa ver a una mujer que es o era coordinadora de un movimiento político de oposición llamado Voluntad Popular, diciendo que ella estaba dispuesta a luchar y morir, peleando contra cualquier militar extranjero que pisara el suelo de la patria. Así inició mi día comunitario, en el edificio donde vivo. Y lo que hice fue reír y saludar a todo el mundo y después despedirme, para comenzar a caminar hacia la farmacia que está ubicada cerca de la plaza Madariaga. Al salir del edificio, todo el ambiente era normal, la gente caminando, las personas trabajando, y todo estaba funcionando normal. Pero cuando llegué a la plaza, me alegré mucho al ver que ya se estaba preparando el ambiente navideño, y que además había algunos niños jugando, cuadrillas de limpieza haciendo mantenimiento, abuelos compartiendo y personas haciendo ejercicios. En ese momento me di cuenta de que las personas enfermas que le apuestan a las amenazas, la violencia y la guerra, tienen todas las de perder, y terminé tomando imágenes de la plaza y jugando ajedrez con unos niños. Estas son las imágenes del día de ayer, donde pasé en un instante de la respuesta militar de mi país a una amenaza extranjera y de conversaciones airadas de unos vecinos, a un proceso de armonía, alegría y esperanza. Yesterday I had to go out to make some purchases at the pharmacy, and when I went down to the ground floor of the building I got with some neighbors, who were watching the videos of the placement of the Russian rocket launchers in Caracas. One of the neighbors, who is adept at the political position of the opposition, began talking nonsense about the government, the military, the militia and attacking everything that the government posed, defending Trump's policies and the threat he made of a possible bombing. The truth is that the rest of the neighbors, both opponents and those who are in favor of the government, ate the neighbor who was talking alive. And it gave me a lot of laughter to see a woman who is or was the coordinator of an opposition political movement called Popular Will, saying that she was willing to fight and die, fighting against any foreign military who stepped on the soil of the homeland. That's how my community day started, in the building where I live. And what I did was laugh and greet everyone and then say goodbye, to start walking towards the pharmacy that is located near the Plaza Madariaga. When I left the building, the whole atmosphere was normal, people walking, people working, and everything was working normal. But when I arrived at the square, I was very happy to see that the Christmas atmosphere was already being prepared, and that there were also some children playing, cleaning crews doing maintenance, grandparents sharing and people doing exercises. At that moment I realized that sick people who bet on threats, violence and war, have all the ones to lose, and I ended up taking pictures of the square and playing chess with some children. These are the images of yesterday, where I spent in an instant from the military response of my country to a foreign threat and from angry conversations of some neighbors, to a process of harmony, joy and hope.
