Happy Friday, today I share with you a crochet knitting project, a pumpkin cup cover, because I am making a mini collection of allegorical piece to decorate my table in the Halloween parties that in the coming days will be celebrated. I will give you some details for its elaboration.

Feliz viernes, hoy les comparto un proyecto de tejido crochet, un cubre taza calabazas, porque estoy realizando una mini colección de pieza alegórica para adornar mi mesa en las fiestas de Halloween que en los próximos días se celebrará. Paso a dar unos detalles para su elaboración.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Ecru and green cotton yarn
- Orange worsted yarn.
- Crochet needle Nº 2.
ESPAÑOL
- Hilo de algodón color crudo y verde
- Hilo estambre color naranja.
- Aguja crochet Nº 2.

ch: chain(s). mp: half point. mpa: half high point. pad: double treble crochet. pat: triple treble crochet. aum: increases. dism: decrease. pa: high point. pr: slipped stitch.
ESPAÑOL
ch: cadena(s). mp: medio punto. mpa: medio punto alto. aum: aumento. dism: disminución. pa: punto alto. pad: punto alto doble. pat: punto alto triple. pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
Handle.
Ecru.
- Make 45 chs, return to beginning, pr.
Body.
- In the handle make 18 mpa, 2 chs, turn knit, continue mpa in the inner strand, making the elastic stitch.
- Repeat the previous stitch as many times as necessary to obtain the cup size, then make the other handle, 25 chs. Knot, cut yarn (in this case I made 16 turns, measuring 20 x 7 cm).
Base pumpkins.
Green.
Top edge.
- Insert green yarn, make mp, 3 chs, skip every other turn, repeat sequence 06 times, 6 chs, skip 4 turns, mp, 3 chs, mp, 6 chs, mp, skip 4 turns, mp, 3 chs, skip two turns, mp, 6 chs, skip 4 turns, mp, 3 chs, mp, 1 ch, knot and cut yarn.
Lower edge.
- Insert green yarn into lower edge, mp, 3 chs, skip two turns, mp, repeat all the way around and pr. For better finish of the cup cover.
Orange.
Pumpkins (03)
- Insert orange yarn, 3 chs, 5 puff of 3 loops, 3 ch, mp. Knot and cut yarn.
- Repeat above process, make pumpkin in space of 06 chs, twice more.
Stem.
Green.
- Insert green yarn, mp, 4 chs, insert needle and pull out loop in each loop and then loop through all the loops and pull until you see the shape of the pumpkin.
- Then 2 chs, 3 mpa, with a loop go through the loop and pull until you get a stronger stem, loop, mp, 4 chs, mp in previous loop.
- Repeat above process two more times until you have 02 more pumpkins.

- Hacer 45 chs, devolver al inicio, pr.
Cuerpo.
- En el asa hacer 18 mpa, 2 chs, girar tejido, continuar mpa en la hebra interna, haciendo el punto elástico.
- Se repite el punto anterior las veces que sean necesarias hasta obtener la medida de la taza, para luego hacer la otra asa, 25 chs. Anudar, cortar hilo. (En este caso hice 16 vueltas, midiendo 20 x 7 cm)
Base calabazas.
Verde.
Orilla superior.
- Insertar hilo verde, hacer mp, 3 chs, saltar cada dos vueltas, repetir secuencia 06 veces, 6 chs, saltar 4 vueltas, mp, 3 chs, mp, 6 chs, mp, saltar 4 vueltas, mp, 3 chs, saltar dos vueltas, mp, 6 chs, saltar 4 vueltas, mp, 3 chs, mp, 1 ch, anudar y cortar hilo.
Orilla inferior.
- Se inserta hilo verde en la orilla inferior, mp, 3 chs, saltar dos vueltas, mp, repetir toda la vuelta y pr. Para mejor acabado del cubre taza.
Naranja.
Calabazas (03)
- Insertar hilo naranja, 3 chs, 5 puff de 3 lazada, 3 ch, mp. Anudar y cortar hilo.
- Repetir proceso anterior, hacer la calabaza en el espacio de 06 chs, dos veces mas.
Tallo.
Verde.
- Insertar el hilo verde, mp, 4 chs, insertar aguja y sacar lazada en cada bucle y luego con lazada pasamos por todos las asas y halar hasta ver la forma de la calabaza.
- Luego 2 chs, 3 mpa, con una asa pasar por el bucle y halar hasta obtener un tallo mas fuerte, lazada, mp, 4 chs, mp en arco anterior vuelta.
- Repetir proceso anterior dos veces mas hasta obtener 02 calabazas más. Anudar, cortar y ocultar hilo.

In my eagerness to have several Halloween fabrics, today I chose this cup cover, it's easy, you must knit according to the size of the cup, as we are knitting, you are testing until you see how many rounds the cup covers. In this case it measures 20 x 7 cm. For that reason the pattern has changes according to the style of the cup. In this case I used worsted yarn for the pumpkins because it is thicker and gives more body.

En mi afán de tener varios tejidos de Halloween, hoy elegí este cubre taza, es fácil, se debe tejer según el tamaño de la taza, a medida que vamos tejiendo, se va probando hasta ver cuantas vueltas cubre la taza. En este caso mide 20 x 7 cm. Por esa razón el patrón tiene cambios según el estilo de la taza. En este caso utilicé para las calabazas hilo de estambre porque es mas grueso y da mas cuerpo.
