El día de hoy decidí pasear por el camino de compras de la ciudad de San Fernando. Una ciudad aledaña a la mía. Allí se encuentra el polo comercial más grande de la zona norte. Es un sitio que me encanta y me trae muchísimos recuerdos, ya que mis padres y abuelos me llevaban siempre de chico para entretenerme. 🤗
Good morning, dear and beautiful Hive community! How are you? I'm doing great, enjoying a beautiful spring day, perhaps the first summer day. Today, the heat is really felt here in El Talar. 🥵
Today, I decided to stroll along the shopping mall in the city of San Fernando. A city adjacent to mine. It's home to the largest shopping center in the northern region. It's a place I love and brings back many memories, as my parents and grandparents always took me there as a child for entertainment. 🤗
Estas calles cambiaron mucho, pero se mantiene ese aire de paseo y de mucha gente mirando vidrieras. Recuerdo que los autos se estacionaban en 45 grados y que las veredas eran mucho más angostas. Ahora están mucho más grandes y espaciosas, está hermoso para caminar. Con mi familia recorremos el total de 20 cuadras, en donde encontrarás todo lo que buscas.
These streets have changed a lot, but they still have that strolling, window-shopping atmosphere. I remember cars parked at 45-degree angles and the sidewalks were much narrower. Now they're much larger and more spacious, making for a beautiful walk. My family and I walk the entire 20 blocks, where you'll find everything you're looking for.
El tiempo parece detenerse cuando estamos aquí. Sin darnos cuenta, pasaron más de 4 horas desde que empezamos por la izquierda y terminamos en el mismo lugar, pero del lado derecho de la calle. En el camino compramos un montón de cositas para la casa y para nosotros. El cielo estaba precioso para sacar varias fotos como esta que ven aquí.
Time seems to stand still when we're here. Without realizing it, more than four hours had passed since we started on the left and ended up in the same place, but on the right side of the street. Along the way, we bought a bunch of things for the house and for ourselves. The sky was beautiful, allowing us to take several photos like the one you see here.
¡Y para finalizar la jornada, porque no pasar por el mayorista de mi ciudad para llenar los carritos de mercaderías a buen precio!
Todo esto de pasear junto a mi familia, pero principalmente junto a mis padres, me trae recuerdos de mi niñez. Lo disfruto muchísimo y deseo que jamás se acaben. Mis padres se están haciendo grandes, pero aún mantienen esas ganas de pasear, ya sea por centros comerciales, por supermercados o avenidas. 🥰
And to end the day, why not stop by my local wholesaler to fill our carts with good-value groceries?
All this strolling with my family, but especially with my parents, brings back memories of my childhood. I enjoy it immensely and hope they never end. My parents are getting older, but they still have that urge to stroll, whether it's through shopping malls, supermarkets, or avenues. 🥰
