Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're well. I'm back in this challenge. I've been quite busy for the past few weeks, but this time I have time to participate in this challenge. Purchasing directly from farmers is very interesting.
Moreover, when I was a journalist, I encountered a problem faced by farmers. The selling price at the market had to go through a middleman first. Often called a middleman, the price was sometimes very low. In fact, it was much lower than the cost of production. That's what I found. Is there an app for purchasing directly from farmers?

Actually, there already is one in Indonesia. There are many apps for selling directly from farmers to customers. But is there a problem? It turns out there's a new problem. The apps they created aren't as popular as other marketplaces. In Indonesia, there are three popular marketplaces: Shopee, Lazada, and Tokopedia.
These three marketplaces dominate online sales in Indonesia. Many people are reluctant to download new apps. The reasons are they take up memory, are complicated, and aren't instant. So, this direct-to-farmer sales app isn't easy to promote. Is there anything the government is doing?
The government also has its own app. This app was created by the central government and promoted by the government. But for some reason, it hasn't caught on. This is a new obstacle. Are prices from farmers significantly cheaper and of better quality? Honestly, goods, vegetables, and fruits sold directly from farmers are much better.
However, the app isn't well-known. There's no collaboration between major marketplaces in Indonesia and farmers. This is a new problem. I buy from it every once or twice. I like the results. However, having too many apps on my phone can be a bit confusing.
Is this the same for you? Is this the same problem you face in your country? If it's different, let's share your story. If it's the same, let's think of a solution. That's all I can share. What do you think? See you in the next story.
