Incest- pros and cons

This is a post by @zuerich and I have chosen this for post of the week and its a new post hot off the presses. Now I don't know @zeurich personally but he has a shit load of Hive and could downvote me into the next century so I have to chose my words carefully. But this is my post of the week so @zuerich should be proud and upvote me really for promoting his incest is best post. We have never had a whale post on blanchys post of the week before but this is a first. But it just had to be my post of a week. As a famous Irish artist once said

"I used to have nothing but now I have fuck all"

The reasons why this post dragged me in was why it dragged everyone in which is a touch of genius from @zuerich.

What are the pros of incest? 😂

The author posts up graphs of where all the incest happening and talks about the disadvantages to marrying your brother from the mothers sister. He posts a sourced map on where the inbreeding is happening in the world which is mainly in Africa and the middle east. The author explains that marrying your cousin is normal behaviour in some countries and there are pros and cons to this. Now my question is what shopping centre did the men in white coats stand outside to obtain this data? The question "Is she your cousin? may not go down that well with most" Did they just interview the couples with cross eyed kids is my question?

Let have a look at the downsides from the authors opinion.

• higher infant and child mortality
• reduced genetic diversity
• significantly lower IQ of 2.5 to 10 IQ points (source)

This seems around right that there is a high risk of disability if you go down the incest route. But if you are a gambling man or woman you could take the risk and come out tops.

What are the pros , what are the pros? Hold your horses.

Just on the reduced genetic diversity. It is probably seen as a pros to some traditional families. I know most of you had a daughter or son bring home a head banger , BBW or BBC so it might be a pros that someone brings home someone from the family.

Advantages of Incest

Lets go through them.

• less trust issues A 1st cousin or sister ain't gonna fuck you over so there is more of a trust there. Although I can counteract this with your spouse maybe could flee to another country after a long life of abuse.

• lower costs for higher education of the offspring 🤣 So basically the child will be thick as a ditch so they won't be going to college. I can counteract this with the cost of a full time carer far out weights the cost of higher education

• lower probability of divorce (as expectations of the partner are lower) The Uncle won't let you. The brackets crack me up. He was a waster when he was a child. He still is a waster. Low expectations.

• For an incestuous marriage fewer people have to be invited. So less people have to travel which lowers the carbon footprint. 🤣 One family comes to the wedding. Less travel.

• what else?

The author ends the pros with a question "What else?" It is an interesting one which got me thinking.

If I married the cousin how would that be good?

• Well you could say that my auntie is my mother in law and vice versa. 1st cousin is also your wife and her brother is your brother in law/ cousin. Less relations to buy presents for.

• The land stays in the family.

• Disability Allowance from the government.

The author does admit he will lose followers over this post but I beg to differ. I'm gonna follow him. And nobody unfollows a geezer with that most HP. We are all prostitutes on Hive who will allow incest talk for a decent upvote.

Now around this time in my curation corner we give marks out of 10 and if a post gets a ten out of ten then I will ring up each witness personally to lobby for the post of the week to get an 100% upvote. Now we have to take marks off for the non sourcing of the nazi sign. You were so close to the perfect post however.

Unfortunately Posh Reddit even commented to the author and declined his post under the "religion tag" which is a shame really as I found this even funnier than the post itself. The author also posts a photo up of Sloth from the Goonies who is the most famous retarded Hollywood actor who got the part as a result of being severely disabled due to incest or maybe the Goonies just had a great make up artist.
