‎Hello everyone, it's another edition of Vibes Web3 Music Competition and it's week 39, and as we all know, the theme for the week is "LEGENDARY MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS. This week is all about the unforgettable music that made movie moments iconic, so my entry for the Week is MEMORIES by MAROON 5

‎"Memories" by Maroon 5 was released in 2019, the song is part of their seventh studio album, jordi. The lyrics, led by Adam Levine reflects on cherished memories and the pain of loss. 
‎It was featured in the movie *Venom: The Last Dance*. The song, played during a memorable scene where Eddie Brock, played by Tom Hardy, recalls about his time with the symbiote Venom.

‎The song's chorus, "Here's to the ones that we got, Cheers to the wish you were here, but you're not," captures the bittersweet feeling of remembering happy times with my late brother who's no longer present. "Memories" message is one of nostalgia, longing, and celebration of the memories I shared with my loved one.

Hello friends and crochet lovers! I hope you're all doing well 😁

For the past few months, I've had a real passion for flowers, especially crocheted flowers. I've been sharing lots of flower tutorials with you 🌸

And this week, I wanted to crochet flowers, but in different shapes: so I made a flower-shaped keychain!

It's a small project, very quick and accessible to beginners 😁

And it's perfect if you want to make a small gift for a loved one!

## Materials

To make this keychain, you need very little:

- 2 balls of yarn in different colors;
- 1 3mm crochet hook;
- A keychain;
- A yarn needle.

## The steps to making the crochet hook

To begin, you need to make a magic circle:

In this magic circle, add 10 single crochet stitches. Then, close the circle and make a slip stitch in the first stitch of the row.

Next, you need to chain 4 stitches, then make 3 unfinished double crochets in the same space where the chain stitches were made.

To continue, you need to make 3 unfinished double crochets in the next stitch, which gives you 7 stitches on the hook:

You can finish the 6 double crochets by going through the 7 stitches on your hook.

Next, you need to cast on 4 chain stitches directly, then make a slip stitch in the same space where you just made your last 3 unfinished double crochets. This will form the first petal:

For the other 4 petals, simply do the same thing:

- Chain 4; 
- 3 unfinished double crochets in the next stitch; 
- 3 unfinished double crochets in the next stitch + finish the double crochets by passing through the 7 stitches on the hook;
- 4 chain stitches; 
- 1 slip stitch in the same space as the double crochets.

In the end, you should have 5 petals. You can finish the project by slip stitching in the first stitch of the row, then chaining one before cutting the yarn.

Here's the result:

And to make it a little prettier, you can curl the petals by pressing them from the back.

Now, you need to make a second identical flower.

Next, to make the pistil, you need to start with a slip knot:

Next, you need to make 3 unfinished double crochets in the first chain stitch. This means you have 4 loops on your hook. You can close these double crochets; to do this, you need to pull through all 4 loops.

Then, cast on 2 chain stitches:

And make a slip stitch in the first chain stitch, but at the back.

Then, you can make a chain stitch and cut the yarn.

You also need to make a second pistil for your second flower!

To sew the pistil onto the flower, take a yarn needle and pass the pistil threads through the center of the flower:

Then, simply sew in several places to keep the pistil in place. And you need to make fairly strong knots.

Once you have your two flowers to which you've sewn the pistils, you can move on to assembling them.

To do this, place your two flowers back to back and take your wool needle with thread to sew the two sides together. Once you've gone all the way around, simply tie a knot and cut the thread.

And there's only one more step: inserting the keychain. Use pliers to open the small jump ring, place it in the middle of one of the petals, and close it.

And there you have it, your little flower-shaped keychain is ready! 🌸

I love it! You can make them in any color, and the result is always quite nice, I think 😁

I really like these little flowers and I'm sure they could be sewn onto clothing, hair bands, or other accessories.

## Le matériel

Pour faire ce porte-clé, il faut très peu de matériel : 

- 2 pelotes de couleurs différentes ; 
- 1 crochet 3mm ; 
- Un porte-clé ; 
- Une aiguille à laine.

## Les étapes de fabrication 

Pour commencer, il faut faire un cercle magique :

Il faut ensuite monter directement 4 mailles en l’air, puis faire une maille coulée dans le même espace que celui où vous venez de faire vos 3 dernières brides non terminées. Cela permet de former le premier pétale :

Pour les 4 autres pétales, il faut simplement faire la même chose : 

- 4 mailles en l’air ; 
- 3 brides non terminées dans la maille suivante ; 
- 3 brides non terminées dans la maille suivante + finaliser les brides en passant dans les 7 mailles présentes sur le crochet ; 
- 4 mailles en l’air ; 
- 1 maille coulée dans le même espace que les brides.

À la fin, vous devrez avoir 5 pétales. Et vous pourrez fermer le projet en terminant par une maille coulée dans la première maille du rang, puis en faisant une maille en l’air avant de couper le fil.

Voici le résultat :

Et pour que cela soit un peu plus joli, vous pouvez bomber les pétales en appuyant dessus depuis la face arrière.

Maintenant, vous devez faire une deuxième fleur identique.

Ensuite, pour faire le pistil, il faut commencer par un noeud coulant :

Ensuite, vous pouvez faire une maille en l’air et couper le fil.

Il faut également faire un deuxième pistil pour votre deuxième fleur ! 

Pour coudre le pistil sur la fleur, il faut prendre une aiguille à laine et passer les fils du pistil au centre de la fleur :

Ensuite, il faut simplement coudre à plusieurs endroits pour que le pistil reste en place. Et il faut faire des nœuds assez solides.

Pour cela, vous allez positionner vos deux fleurs dos à dos et prendre votre aiguille à laine avec du fil pour pouvoir coudre les deux faces ensembles. Une fois que vous avez fait tout le tour, il suffit de faire un nœud et de couper le fil.

Today I wanted to take pictures at night, after all I haven't done it for a long time. Today I tried to find something I wanted to take pictures of at night, I decided to take street photography tonight. I tried to take pictures with a dark nuance even though it was street photography. I didn't really look for a lively object, I just took pictures with a single object to get a vintage impression in monochrome photography at night. 
For the object itself, sometimes I took advantage of several sellers and their small shop that looked very good with a vintage touch at night. You can see some of my photos below...

And though it will be welcome for the new additions to the garden, it is not great for the older parts from a n aesthetic perspective, because things are just starting to bloom - like our fantastic pear tree! While it doesn't grow edible pears as they are *tiny,* for (literally) a few days every year, it is absolutely filled with gorgeous blossoms and in the sun, it is a joy to behold. But if the rains arrive, it destroys them and we miss that little window of beauty until the next year *at least.* This is our fifth year in the house and we have caught the rain twice already. If we get it again, it will mean that we have missed out more than we have received.

But just in case, I went and took a few pictures from around the garden of the blossoms that are out with the pear about to open, the cherry open, the apple not yet ready, the forget-me-nots sprinkled under the apple trees, peonies on the way, the daffodils from Easter still going strong and of course - the ever-present dandelions, which the bees like.

Today, I started digging in a shallow trench around the house where there is currently grass, so as to build a flowerbed that will be filled with [snow-in-summer](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerastium_tomentosum) groundcover. This will run two sides of our house and is about a half meter wide and I am lining it with heat-treated wood. I did the short section of the house today, which is about 9 meters, moving the cut grass to fill a bare patch in another place, and lined it with wood held in place with wooden stakes. I am making the stakes myself with a mitre saw, and it seems to hold. I have done similar with most of the garden beds so far, that have straight lines. 

If you are wondering why we are only putting in groundcover in this area, it is because the roof is sloped and the snow in the winter falls down on two sides of the house. This is broken by the bar on the roof, but it is still very heavy and I don't think anything that is too fragile will survive it. Hopefully, the ground cover will, and for the earlier spring, we will drop tulip bulbs in anyway to bring in colour. 

While I would like to keep working on it this week, rain or shine, I need to get more wood and potting soil and unfortunately, the brakes on my car have gone and won't go to the service in time. Since we have a million and one things this week spread all over the place, we have borrowed my in-law's car for a few days, but I am not going to use that to pick up wood and soil. It is nice to drive a very comfortable car, but we are only driving it as we need. I say "we" but my wife doesn't want to drive it at all. So, some of the gardening will have to wait.

That last one is of a pigeon nesting in one of our apple trees. I used a longer lens as I didn't want to disturb her sitting on the eggs. My daughter and I spent an hour watching her build the nest from our loungeroom window, with her birdman pulling twigs from our garden and gently dropping them to her through the branches. My daughter was pretty happy. However, we don't *yet* have anyone living in the birdhouse we made together, but today as I was working, a little bird came to visit three times over the space of a couple hours, checking the house out and then flying to nearby trees, checking the surroundings for signs of danger. Hopefully they move in!

> That would make us all happy.

It is probably a good thing that I can't do *too much* work over the next few days, because my body is pretty sore in weird places, as it isn't accustomed to getting into the weird positions of gardening, pulling trees, or digging holes. 

It will *man up* in time though.

En esta oportunidad quiero compartirles unas lindas fotografías de una linda tarde de compras con mi pequeña, ella es mi compañera a todos lados que voy y la verdad yo amo su compañía y crear momentos inolvidables y de calidad a su lado, y pues que les puedo decir, una simple salida al súper se vuelve tan mágica y divertida cuando ella está a mi lado.</center></p>

Aún la meto en el carrito de compras pues allí la tengo más controlada a la hora de realizar las compras pues ella es súper inquieta, mi esposo siempre acostumbra a llevarnos y dejarnos allí y pues luego yo le aviso cuando estamos listas para que regrese por nosotras.
Yo disfruto mucho estás visitas al supermercado pues a pesar de que ella habla y pregunta mucho también está pendiente de recordarme algunas cositas que se me pasan por alto.

También muchas veces se antoja de algo y me pide que lo compre, cuando tengo la disponibilidad la complazco pero cuando no tengo, le explico y ella lo comprende.
Está tarde visítanos el súper para abastecer algunas cosas que ya se habían acabado y pues en esta salidota siempre tardamos aproximadamente una hora si no hay mucha gente.

In this opportunity I want to share with you some nice pictures of a nice afternoon shopping with my little girl, she is my companion everywhere I go and the truth is that I love her company and create unforgettable and quality moments with her, and what can I say, a simple trip to the supermarket becomes so magical and fun when she is by my side. </center></p>

> I still put her in the shopping cart because there I have her more controlled when it comes to shopping because she is super restless, my husband always takes us and leave us there and then I let him know when we are ready to come back for us.
I really enjoy these visits to the supermarket because even though she talks and asks a lot of questions, she is also very attentive to remind me of some little things that I overlook.

This afternoon we visited the supermarket to stock up on some things that we had already run out of and it always takes us about an hour if there are not too many people.

There's a subtle enchantment, almost imperceptible to a hurried glance, that lies in the return. In the comfort of a familiar place, in the routine of a path, in the patient waiting in front of the same subject. Like an old friend you meet again after a long journey, a familiar place reveals new nuances, whispers untold stories to those who know how to listen with the lens.

For me, this special "friend" is a solitary beech tree, a majestic, still sentinel in a corner of the world I love. I first met it in a vibrant burst of warm hues, when autumn brushed its leaves with fiery reds and rich golds. Each shot was a hymn to fullness, a celebration of life preparing for rest with an explosion of beauty. The grazing light caressed the rough bark, carving deep shadows that enhanced its history, the scars of time.

Then came the white silence of winter. The beech tree shed its flaming cloak, revealing its skeletal structure, its purest essence. The snow, gently settling on the branches, drew ephemeral arabesques, transforming the tree into a crystal sculpture. Returning to that place, with the cold biting the air and the muffled landscape, meant seeking a different beauty, a hidden strength in the bareness, a promise of resilience in the heart of the frost. Each shot was a whisper, a tribute to stillness and tenacity.

Finally, spring, a delicate and powerful awakening. Slowly, shy buds began to dot the bare branches, tinged with a tender and vibrant green. The beech tree seemed to be covered in a new skin, fragile yet full of promise. Returning to that place in spring was witnessing a rebirth, an explosion of silent but unstoppable vitality. The light, now softer and more diffused, caressed the new leaves, creating an atmosphere of freshness and hope. Each shot was a song, a celebration of the return to life.

In each of these visits, I tried to maintain a similar composition, almost a fixed "stage" for the performance of time. And the magic lies precisely there: in the simplicity of the subject and the constancy of the gaze. What changes radically is not the tree itself, but the world around it and, above all, our perception of it.

And the satisfaction? Immense. Seeing these three images of the beech tree side by side is like listening to three movements of a symphony dedicated to time. Each has its own melody, its own atmosphere, its own emotion, yet all are bound by an invisible thread, by the constant and silent presence of that tree.

This small project reminded me of a fundamental lesson: it is not always necessary to chase exotic landscapes or extraordinary events to find inspiration. Sometimes, true richness lies in the simplicity of what surrounds us, in the familiarity of a place we learn to know deeply. The commitment to return, to observe with new eyes what we believe we already know, always repays with a richer perspective and a deeper connection with the world that hosts us.

So, the next time you find yourself passing by a tree, a corner of the woods, a familiar stream, pause for an extra moment. Imagine returning there in another season. Who knows what silent stories it will have to share. The dance of time is already in motion; all that remains is to tune into its frequency.

Hello, beautiful people of the Vibes community! My name is @katezauka, and I’ll be performing a cover of the song “Idinma” by Judikay, a renowned Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter.

It’s been a while since I last participated in the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, but I’m excited to return for Week 34 with this heartfelt song. “Idinma” is one of my favorites among Judikay’s songs. It deeply resonates with me.

What inspired me to choose this song is not only its gospel message, but also Judikay’s admirable personality. I truly appreciate her passion for the gospel, and her dedication has drawn me to love many of her songs. Of course, her beautiful voice is an added inspiration.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the organizers of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition for consistently running it so smoothly. Your efforts have greatly encouraged me to keep growing and improving, and I believe many others feel the same way.
