Hello Music Community 🎶

A big warm greeting to everyone in this amazing space. Today, I’m bringing you something that is so much more than just a performance, it’s a ministration straight from my heart to yours. I made a cover of “You Are My Hiding Place” by Pastor Benny Hinn, and my sincere prayer is that it blesses you the way it has deeply blessed me.

Music has always been a safe haven for me, but this particular song is a reminder that the greatest hiding place is not in a soundproof room or a quiet corner, it is in the presence of the Lord. There’s a peace that comes when you remember who is holding you, guiding you, and keeping you steady even when everything feels shaky.

The scripture that kept ringing in my heart as I worked on this cover is Psalms 23:4:
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me.



That’s more than words, it’s a promise. One that tells us that no matter the storms, uncertainties, or battles we face, we are never alone. His presence is not seasonal, it’s constant.

When I sing “You are my hiding place, You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance…” I feel the weight of that truth. He is my refuge, my safe space, my shelter in every situation. And I know someone out there needs this reminder today: you can trust Him completely. Lean in, rest, and let Him be your hiding place.

This piece has been ministering to me over and over. I truly hope that as you listen, your heart will be encouraged, your faith strengthened, and your peace restored. 🙏🏼

This song has been living rent-free in my head for weeks, and I just had to share my own heartfelt interpretation. "Alone" speaks to that deep feeling we’ve all had at some point when the world feels quiet, people fade away, and you’re left with just you… and your thoughts. Yet in that solitude, there’s a search for hope, love, and connection. But in that darkness you will see light because we are never truly alone. Jesus is always right there with us.

It’s such a simple but deeply relatable cry for companionship. I approached this cover with raw emotion, letting every note carry the vulnerability the song deserves. I wanted listeners to not just hear the music but feel it and know the truth. To connect with the longing and honesty embedded in each word.

Before I dive in, I want to say a huge thank you to the amazing judges of the Vibes Community @lordbutterfly, @verbal-d  and @silentscreamer. 🙌🎶 You’ve created such a beautiful space for artists to express themselves, connect, and grow, and I’m so honored to be part of it. 💛

For this week’s entry, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and do a cover of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland, from the classic 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz.

If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll remember that unforgettable moment when young Dorothy, feeling out of place and longing for something more, gazes at the sky and dreams of a magical land "somewhere over the rainbow." It’s a scene filled with both innocence and hope a reminder that sometimes, no matter how gray our skies look, there’s a brighter place ahead if we dare to dream. 🌈✨

This song is such a timeless piece delicate, emotional, and full of meaning. Honestly, it was quite a challenge for me to perform it because it demands both vocal control and emotional depth. There were moments I doubted if I could do it justice… but we conquered it! 💪🎤 Every note became a step forward, every phrase a reminder to push past fear.

"RAHAMA" ❤️ the Hausa word for “Mercy” is more than just a song. It’s a heart cry. It’s a reminder that God’s mercy is the reason we are alive, the reason we can hope, the reason we can sing.

When I first heard Rahama by Kaystrings, it resonated deeply in my spirit. The melody carries a calm but powerful anointing, and the words… oh, the words! They speak of God’s endless compassion, His loving-kindness, and the truth that even when we don’t deserve it, His mercy keeps pulling us closer.

Singing this song wasn’t just about doing a cover, it was about expressing my gratitude. Every note was a testimony, every breath was worship. Even as I sang, I could feel God’s mercy washing over me again.

Maybe you’re reading this and you’ve been through a rough season. Maybe life has been throwing one challenge after another. Take this song as a hug from God a reminder that His mercy has not run out on you. His grace is still available, His love still reaches for you, His arms are still open.

There’s something powerful about a warm hug. It’s more than just two arms wrapping around you. it’s a silent language of comfort, safety, and love. A hug can make you feel understood without a single word spoken. It can melt stress, ease pain, and remind you that you are not alone in this journey of life. That’s why this week, I’m giving you a warm musical hug through my performance of “How Are You My Friend” by Johnny Drille. This song feels like a hug in itself, a reminder to check in on one another, to keep the bond alive, and to spread love no matter the distance or time apart.
