***Is Blood Thicker Than Water?***

From the moment we’re born, family is supposed to be our first circle of love, protection, and loyalty. Parents raise us, siblings grow alongside us, and relatives are tied to us by blood. But life often tests this belief, and we begin to wonder: are family bonds always stronger than the friendships we choose for ourselves?

We see it everywhere in our daily lives:

- A brother betraying his own sibling over money or inheritance.

- A best friend showing up during the darkest times, while family turns away.

- A cousin who only calls when they need something, not when you need them.

- A friend who becomes more like a sister or brother than your actual blood.


**But here’s the other side:**

Does blood automatically guarantee loyalty, or is love and trust something that must be earned? Some argue that family, no matter how flawed, will always be there in the end. Others believe that chosen family friends who stand by us through storms can be even stronger.

Many people carry guilt when they drift apart from their relatives, feeling as if they’ve broken some sacred bond. Others find peace in letting go of toxic family ties and building a new circle of trust.

Some say, “Family is forever, and nothing can replace it.”

Others argue, “True family is not who you’re born to, but who stands beside you when it matters most.”

And some believe in balance: respect and love your blood ties, but never underestimate the family you choose along the way.

Why is it that most ladies, once they get married they gradually distance themselves from their single friends and eventually leave them and make friends with married ladies instead?

This was argued with my friend back then in school, which she sworn never to do something like that because to her it isn't cool as well.
Now she is married, the story is exactly as what we argued.
The only old friend she was able to keep was because she got married as well.

Is this a tradition or something they are initiated into or an involuntary act?

What's it about dating stereotypes. I have witnessed a lot of hostility on social platforms thrown towards a single mother. Yes, they did give birth out of wedlock, does it mean they're unworthy of love? Are they unfit to be in the dating pool? Why are they judged harshly? Are they really to blame?

   **Do we always have to forgive?**

First let's under what forgiveness really mean then, we would be able to know if it's really necessary to forgive.

Forgiveness means pardoning an offender and letting go of anger, resentment, and thoughts of revenge. However this doesn't mean that you are condoning a wrong, minimizing it, or even pretending that it did not happen. Rather,  it means that you thought about the persons action or behaviour  and you personal decided to let go.  You don't want to revenge or say angry because of their actions.
 And this decision is based  on the fact that you value your peace of mind and your mental health.


When we don't forgive, it can lead to some health issues  like  high blood pressure, pains disorder such as arthritis and headaches. It would also affect the relationship we have with others, we might even fall into depression. 
Imagine you haven't forgiven someone who offended you, and you stop talking to them,the moment you meet with them  your heart would skip because you haven't let go of that anger. 


**Now do we really have to forgive?**
Yes, it's  very important that we forgive others even when we feel they don't deserve it, this is because our health is involved. If you want to enjoy a healthy life you must learn to forgive. 

A Life filled with anger and resentment is neither a happy one nor a healthy one.
Even our creator is always ready  to forgive us our mistakes how much more we that are so full of imperfections why can't we do the same in imitation of him.

In most cases the offender might not even show any remorse because of that we might feel that they don't deserve our forgiveness.  But the truth is we are letting go of that hurtful feelings we have because of the situation. We choose our peace and sanity over someone's mistakes.

 Forgiveness doesn't really come easy because emotions are involved, feelings where hurt sometimes trust where broken and it's Okey to feel hurtful. Your feelings are valid and nobody should pressure you into forgiving.

Just take your time to heal, and reflect.
 some of those mistakes are like life lessons you learn. Learn from it and move on.
Just let go for the sake of peace, your health and your happiness.

**Allow me to present to you: BASKET WEAVE STITCH**
Have you always want to crochet a basket as a crocheter and you have been wondering how to go about it? Well this post is for you. Because today i will be guiding you all on how i made this beautiful stitch. Trust the process it's not difficult. But yes! i know, it's captivating.🥰

Don't get me started with the colour combo thanks to my friends @jmis and @therealtalkk who came to my rescue because i almost thought i was in the wrong trip of colour combination.😂😂

**Materials needed**
- yarn
- 3.5mm hook
- A pear of scissors
- And my colour combo instinct(😂 Don't mind me).

**Below are the step by step process**
**NOTE:** In this guide, there are words you will come across more often. Which are: chains, double crochet, front post and back post.

**STEP 1:** In this project, I will be using two colours of yarn, which is black and lemon green. So i started with the black yarn. Then i made a slip knot.

**STEP 2:** I made a foundation chain of 16 with extra 7 chains. **NOTE:** It depends on the length you want for your project. But since this is just a sample project i will be going with this length. Which ever chains you make for your desire length, add extra 7 chains.

**STEP 3:**I skipped the first 2 chains from the hook. And into 3rd chain I place a double crochet and I continue with the double crochet across the chains until the end of the row.

**STEP 4:** To start row 2, I change my yarn to the lemon colour which serve as the main colour for thus stitch to bring out the basket pattern. Then i chain up 2, turn my work.
As usual i do work in stitches but in this stitch, i worked in the front and back post.

I skipped the first front post, and in each of the next front post I place a double crochet.

**STEP 6:** In the next 4 front post, I place a double crochet in each.

**STEP 7:** And lastly for this row, in each of the remaining 4 back post. I place a double crochet. And in the chain 2 from the first row. I place a half double crochet.

**STEP 8:** For row 3. I chain up 2. Turn my work, and in each of the 4 back post. I place a double crochet.

**STEP 9:** I continue working double crochet in front and back post just like the second row.

**STEP 10:** I chain up 2, turn my work, and in the each of the 4 back post, I place a double crochet. And I continue to double crochet in each of the 4 front and back post.
