**This is the morning after the magical starry night at deer rut near the lake Gim - I posted my shots of that night** [HERE](https://peakd.com/photography/@photovisions/polish-nature-deer-rut-under-the-starry-sky-2)

*Night in my car was very quiet, peaceful, without any strange actions ;). I opened my windows half way down to hear the deers during the sleep. Maybe it is unusual but I love to sleep in this car - it is much more cozy, atmospheric, much better than at home.*

***If not the family - I would live in a car for sure... traveling from place to place and live like a real digital nomad :D.... Maybe in my next life ;).***

**But going back to the morning sky...** I was going to shoot sunrise so I woke up very early. After leacing my car all I saw was the cloudy sky - no light, no colours, I felt the cold, wet air and the deer rut was finished already. I didn't know what to do next - one option was to stay by the lake waiting for a miracle and the other option was to go back to car and sleep a little bit longer...

*I chose the second option! :D*

**On my way back to the car I saw these amazing cloud formation which was lighted up of a morning sun from above, showing it structure and created some amaizng pastel colours.**

**I decided to walk a bit more around the nearby fields and shoot this magical sky.**

I took few panoramic shots and tried to find any decent composition. But still my main point of interest was the clouds.

**The clouds formed the shapes of sand dunes which looked unreal.**

I think it was a good morning even that I didn't get any sunrise shots

**After this short session I decided to pack my gear and headed towards my still warm sleeping bag in the car :).**

*That morning I slept another 2 hours which gave me enough energy to go for a short walk in the forest as well, because I wanted to check if there are any good mushrooms waiting to be picked ;).*

Polish Nature - Interesting Morning Sky

### Hi Friends!

**Another day out, or even a night out in the field... for this day I picked a place which I really liked - because it is offical, because there is a nice beach and lake view nearby, there is "ToiToi" nearby and a trash bin. After a summer season this place is very quiet. After the sun went down the nature took the place there.**
During the night I was able to hear the birds, roaring deers, distant owls... and in the same time I was trying to capture these amazing views of the night sky full of stars above me.

I hope You will enjoy this gallery - just think about the sounds od nighttime deer rut aroung me and other magical mousic of the night...

Polish Nature - Deer Rut Under The Starry Sky #2

### Hi Guys!

**In this year I was able to go and experience red-deer rut only three times.**

**Below You can see few shots I took during my first night out. I was standing by the Gim lake, on the wooden bridge, watching the stars and enjoying the sounds of roaring deer bulls from a distance.**

*Gim lake is situated near the villages Butryny and Zgnilocha, South-East from Olsztyn in Warmian voivodeship.*

Weather was perfect - still, quiet, no wind, no clouds - only the stars and sounds which travel through the water from all directions...

***It was magical time and I really enjoyed it. Wish to stop the time then or just a built a teleport which could give me the possibility to travel there anytime and relax a bit after a busy day ;).***

**New video appeared on my second channel where I am sharing some of my other passions, other than photography...**

In this video - mushroom picking time! It is a high season for all mushroom lovers so I decided to try my luck.

It wasn't the best but... I won't give You any more spoilers ;)...

*Few days later I went for another forest walk with my biggest basket and we found so many great mushrooms that the basket was full! I made 11 jars of marinated mushrooms, froze 3 bags for later time and ate a lot of them in a form of freshly made sous. Have to go there again very soon!*

"Klub Zbieraczy" - Vlog From Latest Mushroom Picking

# Hi everyone!

In August 2022, I visited the Italian **Dolomites**. In today's post, I'd like to share some photos I took during my visit to **Lake Braies**.

***Lago Di Braies** (Pragser Wildsee) is a lake located in **South Tyrol** in the **Dolomites**. It's a small lake with a walking path around it. You can rent a boat there and take a cruise on the lake. It's located at an altitude of 1,496 meters above sea level and is accessible by car, with a large parking lot. A distinctive feature of the landscape is the **Croda Del Becco** (Seekofel) massif, which towers over the lake.*

The location is very popular and very attractive for landscape photographers. The lake's smooth surface allows for beautiful reflections of the mountains, which look stunning in photos. It's one of those places that has really stuck with me, and I'd love to return there in the future.

The photos below were taken in the morning. The lake water was calm and a beautiful turquoise. The massive massif towering over the lake looked incredibly charming in the morning sun. Photographing this scenery was pure pleasure. See for yourself 🙂

# Cześć wszystkim!

W sierpniu 2022 roku odwiedziłem włoskie **Dolomity**. W dzisiejszym poście chciałbym przedstawić kilka zdjęć jakie wykonałem podczas wizyty nad **Jeziorem Braies**.

***Lago Di Braies** (Pragser Wildsee) to jezioro leżące w **Tyrolu Południowym** w **Dolomitach**. Jest niewielkim jeziorem, wokół którego wiedzie ścieżka spacerowa. Można tam wypożyczyć łódkę i udać się w rejs po jeziorze. Znajduje się ono na wysokości 1496m n.p.m, a dostać się można do niego samochodem, jest tam sporych rozmiarów parking. Charakterystycznym elementem krajobrazu jest tutaj masyw **Croda Del Becco** (Seekofel), który góruje nad jeziorem.*

Miejsce jest bardzo popularne i bardzo atrakcyjne dla fotografów krajobrazowych. Gładka tafla jezioro daje możliwość uzyskania pięknego odbicia gór, które na zdjęciach prezentuje się rewelacyjnie. Jest jednym z tych miejsc, które bardzo utkwiło mi w pamięci i chętnie tam wrócę w przyszłości.

Zdjęcia, które znajdziecie poniżej powstały o poranku. Woda w jeziorze była spokojna i miała przepiękny, turkusowy kolor. Potężny masyw górujący nad jeziorem prezentował się niezwykle urokliwie w porannym słońcu. Fotografowanie tej scenerii było czystą przyjemnością. Zobaczcie sami 🙂

PV's Vlog - After a Long Break...

##### Welcome to my final gallery from Baltic Sea trip taken earlier this year.

The same place as in previous galleries - **Poddąbie/Northern Poland** - if You wish to see and know more, check out my latest few posts.

*Weather that day wasn't very promissing in a matter of interesting sky for sunset shooting but of course I decided to go to the beach and try my luck.*

*During my daytime exploration I found a vouple of interesting elements to place in my compositions.*

*I always like to see the wood on the shore - driftwood or a deadwood if You like ;) especially the ones which are close to the shoreline and have the connection with water and incoming waves.*

**Among the few different wooden remainings I found this special species - which looked almost like a skeleton of some sea monster. In fact it was very old root system of a tree, half of this was burried under the sand, the other half above looked really abstract.**

*Beautiful piece of natural wood, very hard, almost white, processed by sun, sea water, travelling sand and wind.*

This was something I really wish to take with me home - but of course it was impossible to move it - burried in sand, rock-hard wooden elements didn't even want to move... and maybe it is a great thing, because I am sure I wasn't the only person who wanted to take it home ;).

As I said it was the last day of my trip and a last sunset...
***It wasn't great, in fact, it was very boring but it was the last one - so I really enjoyed every minute I spent by the sea, hearing the sound of waves, feeling the smell of sea and the open space above wide horizon...***

Every time I am going to the shoreline of Baltic Sea in Poland I am very excited because I just love it! Is it only one day or like this time - 5 days - I have never regretted these trips.

Baltic Trip 2025 - The Last Sunset

***I am coming back after long break to finish the series from my Baltic Trip 2025.***

I was out... in fact, **I had an amazing car trip to Romania**, *one week of traveling, exploring, chilling, visiting different places there and it was a great time with couple of my friends.*

**I will show You all the shots from this trip** for sure but still didn't processed a single one - I came back last Sunday and didn't have time for this - so many things I had to organize first... Anyway, I am back with the shots from Poland - Baltic Sea shores, this is a continuation and if You havent seen the previous posts - check them out! It is worth a while :).

**For this gallery I chose the shots showing the look of the forests very close to the edge of the cliffs and the beach.**
As You can see the terrain isn't flat, we can find there couple of gorges and some really old and beautiful beech trees. 
*I was walking among the forests twice that day, one in full midday sun and the second time when I was going to the beach to capture the sunset so the light was already beautiful, golden and low, showing the full magic of the place.*

Not much more to comment from my side - take a look at the shots and I hope You will feel the vibe of this location.

I can add just one thing - there are many official footpaths in the forests, very accesible for the families, hikers and the bikers. Fantastic place!

**This collection of shots I took on the same beach and the spot I presented** [HERE](https://peakd.com/photography/@photovisions/amazing-shoreline-near-poddabie-northern-poland).
*Place: Poddąbie area, shoreline of Baltic Sea, Northern Poland.*

The place is called ***"The springs on the beach"*** - it is not an offical name but it can be found on Google maps under it.

*The sand, algae, minerals, other stuff, mixed together with water from the spring, creating some magical pictures - rusty, orange, yellow, red, brown... shapes, structures, patterns...*

I won't speak more - just take a look at the images - **I hope Your imagination will be happy!**

**Going to the East from Poddąbie we can find a very interesting location known as "Springs on the beach".**

*This is the part of the cliffs where we can find multiple fresh water springs coming out of the cliffs.
The water has iron taste and colour - like most of the natural springs in forest areas... of course I didn't risk to drink it - just took very little on my finger to feel the taste.*

Water looks crystal clear and I am sure it is - it is filtered through many layers of sand and gravel, so in case of life threat - I would drink it without fear.

Amazing Shoreline Near Poddabie / Northern Poland

### Hi Folks!

**Like in the title - the next day - fourth one - I changed location and from Dębina, that You could see in my two previous posts,  I travelled little more East to Poddąbie.**

*Another small, lovely touristic village, surrounded by forests and wild nature. Village itself is very nice, all is clean, some food places, a lot of souvenirs, small local shops and other attractions.*

*But for me what was the most important - quite large parking area, free of charge, just by the entrance to the footpath leading through the forest to the beach, where I found a nice spot for spending another night in my car.*

**Like in Dębina the forests were really beautiful - typical beech forest type which we can find by the sea shore - many large and old species, these forests are of course protected as they are the natural defense from wind and of course keeping the sandy cliffs together, slower down the succesions of the sea.**

Few more shots of the trees growing just by the edge of the cliffs. I wonder how long they will last there... 

Every year the sea is taking away some parts of the land here... 

I won't hide that this place and this shoreline was one of the best I have seen so far along the Polish coast of Baltic Sea.

Another Day, Another Place - Cliffs in Poddabie (Poddąbie)

I won't say it was boring but it could be soo much better with clouds...

**Anyway, I was trying to capture some long exposure shots, using my combo CPL+ND filter from K&F Concept ([HERE](https://www.kentfaith.com.pl/KF01.1087?tracking=PROJEKT) is a link to that filter and a discount 17% on all of Your shoppings on the official site with code "PROJEKT" on checkout).**
I also found a few nice compositions with big stones washed by incoming waves... if only there were clouds...

I enjoyed my time there, sunset is a magical time of the day, time to relax, to think, to plan another day...

Debina - Sunset Time on The Beach / Baltic Sea

Some time ago, I visited the beautiful mountain range of the Slovak Malá Fatra. A wealth of wonderful views fills the eyes in almost every direction as we hike along the main ridge.

*With good visibility, we can admire the **Tatra Mountains**, **Choč Mountains**, the Polish and Slovak **Beskids.***

Personally, I was delighted with the loop from Stara Dolina to Vrátna.

# Cześć Wszystkim!

Jakiś czas temu odwiedziłem to piękne pasmo górskie jakim jest Słowacka Mała Fatra. Bogactwo cudownych widoków zalewa wzrok niemal z każdej strony, kiedy wędrujemy granią główną. 

*Przy dobrej widoczności możemy podziwiać **Tatry**, **Góry Choczańskie**, oraz **Beskidy** Polskie i Słowackie.*

Osobiście byłem zachwycony tym, czym uraczyła mnie pętla ze Starej Doliny we Vratnej. 

Mam nadzieję, że te kilka zdjęć z wyprawy chodź trochę przybliży wam wspaniałość tego miejsca.

Malá Fatra National Park

**After leaving the beautiful Bialogora village I drove to East to visit and explore new location - Dębina. Another small village located close to the Baltic Sea shore. On the map I found a great location for spending a night in my car - free and big parking area close to the beach. It was a great choice so I decided to spent there full day and night.**

**On the beach I found amazing high cliffs, sea is taking away the land every year here so the shoreline is changing every year. Big trees growing just by the edge of the cliffs which is really amazing sight. Some parts of the cliffs looked really dangerous and were as high as 10-15 meters.**

I really love this kind of shores where You can observe the natural geological processes, where You can study the layers of the ground and see this whole process almost live.

The great thing in such places is the fact that we can find many stones and boulders on the beach, washed away from the cliff by incoming waves.

**On the beach I found few interesting spots with big boulders and old deadwood in the sand.
Such places are always interesting for photography.**

These ones are a potential good spots for sunrise time and to try long exposure time photography.

**I have to mention the forests which grows on the cliffs - old beech forests with many huge trees.
Great place for photography during autumn time, not the best now but still the trees there are doing a big impression.**

Here are just a few examples of how these forests look like.

Another Place - Debina - Amazing Cliffs!

**Some time ago I was walking in my hometown called Mragowo** (North-East of Poland) and when I was passing by the small lake in the city I found that the water starts to "bloom". It's happening every year when the water temperature is high. **The alges start to bloom**, gathering on the water surface, sometimes create a thick layer which can be deadly for fish and other animals living in the water.

*It also smells really bad that time. It lasts a week maybe and then dissapear. It is a natural process  in the lakes with fertile water - not really sure if I am using the proper English names here.*
*It is a process of eutrophication of lakes... Anyway...*

***I found that the patterns, colours, abstract forms created by these alges looks really interesting so I grabbed my smartphone and took a couple of images.***

Few quick shots and I walked away because **the smell was horrible for me - stinky old fishy smell mixed with something even worse...**

*Later I made some post processing in the Snapseed App and then uploaded images to laptop where I made a final post processing in Lightroom.*

**Here are the final effects** of this - in my opinion really abstract and interesting.

Abstract Nature - On The Water Surface

*This time the last part of photographs from Białogóra - the end of the day, sunset time, still windy weather but quite peaceful sky and calming colors.*

***I tried to find few interesting compositions, only few because sunset don't lasts forever, it is only 10-15 minutes of the best light before the sun sink into the sea.***

**It is always good to look for reflections. Instead of having dark, boring foreground we will get a nice touch of light and colours plus some waves, different colors, sometimes reflections of the sky and clouds, doubled and mirrored sunset itself.**

**Other thing I was looking for was sand patterns. I managed to find some interesting ones by the edge of a sea pond.**
*Going really low with my camera, using a wide-angle lens I managed to capture it and magnify it's size.*

**As the sun went down I tried one more composition - this time I was trying to capture the sunset sky together with dunes and beach.**

*Pity that the sky was empty, that day I didn't get any clouds which are always very important during sunset - they are reflecting the light and colours making the view much more interesting.*

BELOW: ***Final pictures have the vibe of late evening, like I mentioned - it was windy but You don't feel it on the shot. The whole scene looks really peaceful in my opinion.***

**Continuing my car trip to Pomerania in Poland I drove from Gdansk to North, towards the Baltic Sea coast.**

My first stop was village called **Białogóra**.
*Typical turistic location, with few narrow streets, shops, seasonal restaurants, bars and attractions. Not too big but also not so small as many other vilages by the coast.*

After I found a good location for night and vanlife, I grabbed my stuff and headed towards the beach.

There is quite a long distance to walk so many people are using local transport to get closer to beach entrance.
But to be honest - it is maybe 10 minutes walk among beautiful pine forests, so it is a pleasure.

**The weather was clear, what You don't see on the shots is a very strong wind. Wind that blow off the sand from the surface uncovering interesting sandy scultpures and patterns in one place and building up dunes in other places.**

I was hoping to get some clouds on the sky but no luck this day.

I decided to walk among the coast as long as I have energy. On the way I was really amazed of the sand - it was froming amazing abstract images. ***More of these sand patterns I will show You in my next posts.*** 

For now just a short glimpse on the beach near Bialogora.

***I was positively surprised by this location. In the area around the village we can find many footpaths, bike roads, few Natural Reserve areas, typical pine forests growing on the dunes, nice, clean and wide beach - really nice place to spent there couple of days.***

I came back to this beach in the sunset time - what I found and photographed then really made this day magical! BUT - stay tuned, more posts and shots soon!
