Greetings, friend, hive is a very big world. We can see that we have several interfaces such as hive blog, peakd, Inleo, but one of the ones that has changed everything, making it much easier every time, is Ecency. We have a mobile app that allows us to create content, giving us a lot of convenience and some extra benefits that are only available in Ecency. So, I'm sharing a short tutorial on how to use this app on your phone.



>Saludos amigo, hive es un mundo muy grande, la cual podemos notar que contamos con varías interfaces como lo son hive blog, peakd, Inleo, pero una de las que ha cambiado todo para que cada vez sea mucho más fácil es Ecency, puesto que contamos con un aplicación para teléfonos y de esa manera poder crear contenido dándonos mucha comodidad y algunos beneficios extras que solo están en Ecency. Así que te comparto un pequeño tutorial de cómo usar dicha aplicación en el teléfono.

Step 1: The first thing we have to do is go to the Play Store or App Store depending on the phone you are using and in that way search for the Ecency application, where we can see that it is totally free, does not weigh much and in just seconds you will have the application downloaded.


>Paso 1: Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es irnos a la play Store o App Store dependiendo del teléfono que estés usando y de esa manera buscar la aplicación de Ecency, donde podemos notar que es totalmente gratis, no pesa mucho y en tan solo segundos ya tendrás la aplicación descargada.

Step 2: When you enter the application, go to "Sign In." Then, enter your Hive username and the Posting Key. This is the only key you'll need to enter to proceed. Once you've entered this information, accept the terms and conditions, and you're now logged into the application.



>Paso 2: Al momento de ingresar a la aplicación nos vamos a donde dice Sign In, seguidamente vamos a colocar nuestro nombre de usuario de hive y tener la clave de publicación la Posting Key, siendo la única clave que vamos a colocar para así poder avanzar. Una vez colocado dicha información, aceptamos los términos y con eso ya estamos dentro de la aplicación.

Step 3: Once inside the app, at the top of the screen on the left side, your profile picture will appear, as shown in the image. When you tap on the profile picture, you'll notice that certain important features will appear, each with its own function. You can see each one in the image.


>Paso 3: Al estar dentro de la aplicación en la parte superior de la pantalla en el lado izquierdo, nos saldrá nuestra foto de perfil como se muestra en la imagen. Al tocar la foto de perfil podemos notar que nos saldrán ciertas funciones de gran importancia y cada una de ellas cuenta con una función, donde en la imagen podrás ver cada una de ellas.

Step 4: At the bottom of the screen, we'll find other main and most frequently used features. The first is our Feed, which reflects all of our friends' and community's posts, as well as trending posts. The second is Waves, a space for interaction. The third is for creating posts. The fourth is for the wallet, and the fifth is for notifications.



>Paso 4: En la parte inferior de la pantalla, vamos a contar con otras funciones que son las principales y estas se usan con muchas más frecuencias. Donde la primera de ellas es nuestro Feed, la cual refleja cada una de las publicaciones de los amigos, de la comunidad y las publicaciones que están en tendencia. La segunda son los Waves, un espacio para interactuar. La tercera es para crear la publicación. La cuarta la billetera y la quinta las notificaciones.

### <center>**Publish from the app // Publicar desde la aplicación.**</center>

Publishing is very simple and practically the same as in other interfaces, however, only the location of the options varies, so you have to be very careful not to make mistakes. Click on the pencil icon in the options at the bottom and the indicated space will appear. In this case, we put the title at the top, followed by the tags. The preview is also in the eye icon at the top, where you can view the entire post once it is ready. When finished, click on the **Publish** button.



>Publicar es muy sencillo y prácticamente es igual que en las demás interfaz, sin embargo solo varia la ubicación de las opciones y para eso tienes que estar muy pendiente para no cometer errores. Le damos en la opción del lápiz que está en las opciones de la parte inferior y allí nos saldrá el espacio indicado. En este caso, colocamos el titulo en la parte de arriba, seguimos con los tag o etiquetas. También la vista previa está en la opción del ojito, en la parte superior para visualizar toda la publicación una vez lista. Al finalizar le damos en el botón de **Publish**.

### <center>**How to Use Ecency Waves // Como Usar los Waves de Ecency**</center>

This is one of the newest features of the app, which is a section for interacting with other users who only use Ecency. It is very easy to use, but not everyone knows about this space. The best thing is that with each update, this Waves section becomes more powerful and easier to use.

Step 1: Go to the Waves section, where you will see a space that says **What's happening** at the top of the screen. This is where you will write your Waves.

Step 2: We only have 250 characters, as it is a short space, but we can upload images and polls. Accompanied by any text you want, once that is ready, we click on **Publish** and it will automatically appear in the Waves section. Important information: Here you can also receive votes depending on the quality of the Waves.



>Esta es una de las cosas más nuevas de la aplicación, la cual es una sección para interactuar con los demás usuarios qué solamente usan Ecency, donde es muy sencillo de usarlo y no todo el mundo conoce este espacio y lo mejor es que con cada actualización que hacen esta sección de Waves toma más fuerza y facilidad.

>Paso 1: Nos vamos a la sección de Waves y allí nos saldrá un espacio que dice **What’s happening** eso está en la parte superior de la pantalla, donde nos saldrá un espacio y allí es donde vamos redactar nuestro Waves.

>Paso 2: Nada mas contamos con 250 caracteres, ya que es un espacio corto, pero podemos subir imágenes y encuestas. Acompañado de algún texto que desees, una vez listo eso, le damos donde dice **Publish** y eso automáticamente saldrá en la sección de Waves. Dato importante: Aquí también puedes recibir votos dependiendo de la calidad del Waves.

### <center>**Benefits of using the app // Beneficios al usar la aplicación.**</center>

This is something unique to ecency, which can be a motivation for all users to obtain benefits, since for every vote, post, and comment, we will receive ecency points, which can be exchanged for rewards only from ecency. In other words, every action we take is worth a certain amount of points, which can be found in the **Points** section.


With these Ecency points, we can do many good things both for ourselves and to support other users. The first thing we can do is transfer them to other users, which is called **Gift**. The next thing is to promote a post by any user, thereby increasing its reach in the ecosystem, which is called **Promote**. Finally, we can rent an Hp delegation with Ecency points, which is called **Boost+**. These are great benefits that are only available on Ecency.



>Esto es algo único de ecency, la cual puede ser una motivación para todo los usuarios y poder obtener beneficios, puesto que por cada voto, publicación, comentarios nos darán puntos de ecency, la cual sirve para poder canjearlos por recompensas solamente desde ecency, es decir, cada acción que sea haga vale una cierta cantidad de puntos, la cual los podemos encontrar en la sección de **Points**-

>Estos puntos de ecency, podemos hacer muchas cosas buenas tanto para el bien de uno como para apoyar a otros usuarios. Puesto que lo primero que podemos hacer es transferirlos a otros usuarios y esto es llamado **Gift**, lo siguiente es poder promocionar una publicación de cualquier usuario y de esa manera tener más alcance en el ecosistema y esto es llamado **Promote]] y lo último poder alquilar una delegación de Hp con los puntos de ecency y esto es llamado **Boost+**. Siendo beneficios muy buenos que solo están en Ecency.

These are some of the most basic and most used features in this great Ecency interface. In my case, I have been using Ecency for a couple of years now, and it is very easy to use. Once you learn how to use it, you won't stop using it. Plus, with the mobile app, I can assure you that everything becomes easier, so don't miss this great opportunity to download the app for your phone and start working with it, using Ecency for your day-to-day tasks. Vacation time is starting, and with it, our next big challenge!

Finally, it's time again and we can officially announce our travel contest within the Community. A challenge for all travelers who want to share their adventures during this time of the year, no matter if it is the snowy, foggy, rainy, or sunny season where you are.


# It is all about your ultimate adventures!

Due to your working calendar or habits, we want to acknowledge that many of you spend the month of August on vacation, disconnecting, traveling, and visiting places in various ways. From August 1st to August 31st, you can enter our challenge to win some awesome prizes!



# How does it work:

From tomorrow on, you can collect tickets by writing high-quality posts in order to enter the challenge and win some prizes. As easy as writing those posts, it doesn't need to be holiday-related, but if you include the adventure theme and share it on snaps or waves, you can have even more chances to win a prize.

Prizes will be drawn by accumulated "tickets", which can be obtained as follows:

##### -> 3 Tickets for making it into the daily TravelDigest
If your post has been curated by WorldMapPin and entered in the top 3 or Honorable Mention of our [Daily Travel Digest](https://peakd.com/@worldmappin) you collect 3 tickets. Please be aware that entering the Traverldigest is only possible once per day.

##### -> 1 Extra Ticket for Hashtags
If your curated post contains the hashtags #worldmappin #superchallenge and #favorite you even get one more ticket. 

##### -> 1 Ticket for writing a Snap of your personal favorite posts 
if you promote a post of the day, posted in the worldmappin community of somebody else, you get one more ticket. Please make sure to include the link to your favorite post of the day (it doesn´t have to be a curated one), that you snap in the worldmappin community's Snaps and that you use all three hashtags: #worldmappin, #superchallenge and #favorite. You can do this a maximum of 1 time per day.

##### -> 1 Ticket for a Wave of other people post

The same applies if you promote your favorite post of the day with the link to that post (it doesn´t have to be a curated one) at the worldmappin community's waves using all three hashtags: #worldmappin, #superchallenge and #favorite. You can do this a maximum of 1 time per day.

**So you can reach a maximum of 6 tickets per day**.

¡Por fin ha llegado el momento! Ya podemos anunciar oficialmente nuestro concurso de viajes dentro de la Comunidad. Un reto para todos los viajeros que quieran compartir sus aventuras en esta época del año, sin importar si hay nieve, niebla, lluvia o sol.

# ¿Cuál es el mecanismo?

A partir de mañana, puedes conseguir tickets escribiendo posts de alta calidad para participar en el reto y ganar premios. Tan fácil como escribir esas publicaciones, no es necesario que estén relacionadas con las vacaciones, pero si incluyes este tema de aventura y la compartes en snaps o waves, tendrás aún más posibilidades de ganar un premio.

Hello every body,

I hope you all had a great start of the week.
Here is another edition of my trip to Berlin. And because it's Monday, it's going to be a black and white photo series.

The first day we were there we got a global tour from a friend who showed us the center of the city and the highlights of Berlin. I tried to capture more of the street around those touristic places and wanted to be more of a street photography trip. I did not really succeed on this day. It's that we were with multiple people and than I just don't wan to keep people up or fall behind. But this day was a good day to discover the city center a bit. I know the way now and if I go back some day I can go straight t the nice points.

I wanted to put one color picture in here. I saw this on my computer and tought, why did I took this picture? But when I turned it to a black and white pitcure I saw the woman standing in the grass. I wanted here to be in the center of the frame. I just noticed here when I turn in in to B&W

Hello photo lovers,

Here are some sunset pictures that I took during my trip trough out Spain. I was on the beautiful north coast of Spain, Asturias. There you can find amazing rock formations that are standing in the water, waiting to be taken by the sea. The water slowly erodes the rocks away.

And there is it were you can practice very good with long exposures. I wanted to get a nice movement of the water around the rocks and that means different kinds of shutter speeds. But also a bit of luck. The flow of water needs to be not to much and not to less.

This location was pretty nice. I wanted the flow of water between the rocks more visible.

On my way back to my van, I had a nice view over the beach. I love to played outside like this. Feet in the water and running for the waves.

Hello photo lovers,

Here are some more pictures from a morning hike in the lower Alpujarra mountains.
The view I had was over the town of Berja and El Ejido. Two places in Andalusia were there is a lot of green houses located. 

When the sun just came above the mountain ridge during golden hour, the trees and the grass were beautiful lid up in the golden sunlight.

On the hike back to the cortijo the rolling landscape had a beautiful soft color from the rising sun.

The green trees in the fron give a nice contrast and a very good depth in the picture. maybe the background is a little to blue. I need to fix that a bit.

Morning walk in the Alpujarra mountains. 

Hello photo lovers,

I hope you all had a awesome week. Do you all have nice plans this weekend? Are you going out to take some pictures? In the Netherlands it's finally nice weather. Today it was even 19 degrees Celsius and sunny. But this is the Netherlands and next week it will be cold again.
Not as cold as it was in Berlin last January, but still not good. 

that brings me to this post. I am almost finished editing my Berlin pictures and I can start showing you the first results. I still want to experiment a bit more with the editing of the pictures so I will probably be working on it for a while. I want to experiment more with editing pictures like I took them back in the nineteen nineties.   

Here are some of those examples I am working on. The first is the original.
I saw some old pictures that looked like this edit of the second one. Not really happy jet. I want it to look a bit older instead of just a bit yellower.

I don't know if this building looks to new for an old edit.

But I really do like this edit. It got a bit more older than the first edit. I do like the over all style. But I am not really sure if I want to keep that edge in the picture. It does ad something to it.

In this one I used a little more blue filter on it. This works perfect in this picture. It's better then the original one.

And I need to edit some pictures in black and white to. This one is not that special but picking out the correct pictures to change in to black and white is also a challenging.

The Best pictures to changes in to the old style pictures are the once who don't have many new objects in them. No people with modern clothes or brand new cars. And nowadays the whole sidewalks are full of those electric scooters. So I tried to think about that when I was taking the pictures. Like this one.

Again a bit more yellow but this really looks more like a "KGB photo". The style that I want to create.

And then I came across this beauty. That was the style I wanted to create in my photo's. 
But what was there a lot of shit in this frame.

Luckily there is the new Ai modes of lightroom. Editing became more easy overnight. And I started selecting the cars and remove them from the picture.

Look at these two edits. It cleared up so much. It took a while to get it right but I do love these results.

And a black and white version. No, I like the vintage ones better.

You can choose a style of camera and all kinds of film types. You also can edit the specific filter to your optimal settings.

**EDITORIAL**

The smallest month of the year is always the most productive for me. It was in this month that I was born and it is in this month that I make all the decisions that will have repercussions for the rest of the year.

Let's get down to the trip: from now on, HIVE PHOTO MAGAZINE will have 10 authors. The financial issues have been resolved. I will cover the costs of the platform ([FlipHTML5](https://fliphtml5.com/fliphtml5-pricing.php)) that supports the magazine. The rewards from HIVE are for investing in HIVE. That's the only way it makes sense.

This magazine aims to promote publications with a minimum of 10 photographs, which are consistent with each other and argue/support the portfolio concept. 

The variety of perspectives, languages and techniques presented show the photographic wealth that is published in the different HIVE communities. This will always be the purpose of this magazine, to reveal heterogeneity.

Many other publications in February had the quality to be in the magazine, but these were the 10 that came onto my radar. Next time it could be you. 

A heartfelt thank you to the authors featured here, for the quality of the work published and for the satisfaction it has given me to build the magazine.

HIVE PHOTO MAGAZINE - February 2025

Hello every body,

How is your weekend going? Here we are hard at work because some crazy deadlines but it feel very rewarding. I wanted to finish my Berlin pictures today but I think I am not going to make that. Well that's okay, tomorrow also will be fine. It are 998 pictures that I took there so be prepared for a lot of Berlin stories. 

But this post is about the Alpujarra, Andalusia. We spend a couple of days in that mountain area helping with the olive harvest and pruning of the olive trees. We slept in a little cortijo or farm house and that was wonderful. no TV, almost no internet connection and very very quiet. One of those mornings I disided to get out early and go for a sunrise walk. I went up hill in the dark and looked for a spot wit a stunning view. But when I got on top of the hill in front of me, there was another hill behind it. that was a hard walk and I almost was to late for the sunrise. 

I walked across a little hiking trail that went down. I tough that could be a nice path to go and I hoped that it would take me around the next hill instead over the top. And I was right. 

just a couple of minutes for the sunrise I found my self this spot. the colors in the sky were already amazing.

Far in the distance you can see the peaks of Parque Natural del Cabo de Gata-Níjar. It took me a while o figure out witch mountains that were but internet is your best friend. Now i want to go here again during a clear day. I want to see the whole mountains.

And there she is, the sun. I felt here warmth immediately. the power of the sun is inn credible.

The mountains next to me were coloring red.

The sun is coloring the clouds that are hanging above the city.

Every were you look there are greenhouses in the area. It literally is a sea of plastic. And up in the mountains, every flat piece of land there is a green house on it to. The climate here is just very good for growing food.

The hiking trail in the golden sunlight during golden hour. What a lovely spot I had discovered.

I thought it was a good time to leave if the sun disappeared behind that cloud. Back to the cortijo,it was time for coffee.

I also made some panorama's of the views. They turned out well, if I say so myself. Good picture to print on wall paper for in your house ;)

Sunrise in the mountains, Alpujarra Spain.

Hello photo, museum and architecture lovers,

today I have a little post about the Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Centre located in the city of Avilés, in Spain. I came across this place during a rainy Monday morning while I was searching for things to do on a rainy day. i saw some quick pictures of the place and immediately started driving towards there.  

But of course, its closed on Monday's... I always for get to check if things like this are open or not. But it was okay, I could stay dry beneath canopy and the walking promenade that connected the two buildings. the restaurants was one big glass facade, perfect for those reflection shots.

Nicely the dome in the reflection.The window was curved so it is not really symmetrical, but that doesn't bother me.

This is the view when I was standing with my back to the visitors center. the tower, witch was rotating I believe, witch has a restaurant in there. And the dome I have now Idea what is in there. It probably was the theater. I really need to go back because it looked very good from the outside.

It was raining so hard as you can see here. But that was pretty good for the reflections on the g;floor.

The only building that was open was the visiting center. Not that it was that interesting but I could go to the toilet and have a hot chocolate.  I did met an interesting German guy there, he was traveling around on his motor. He spend the last two months I belie driving around Europe. that was pretty hard core because It was raining very very hard that day. At that time I also was driving around three months already but I could sleep dry in my van. 

This is him in his motor suit and helmet. He cept dry in that so that was okay.

Mono Museum Monday

Hello photo lovers,

It's sunset Sunday again. I have some nice pictures from, of course, Playa Almerimar. 
I spend a couple of months in Spain last year and this was the one beach close by to go out for a walk with the dog. And than you pick the best time a day to go there and that's sunset time. Les people on the beach and the chance of a nice sunset of course.

The sun was not low enough to get the boat in front of it. That would have been a nice silhouette picture.

And I didn't want to wait until the sun would have set behind this breakwater. I wanted to do some walkies instead of waiting.

But than finally I saw a boat passing by. It was very far away in the distance but I managed to capture it with my zoom lens. Pretty cool that I capture the bird right in the middle above the sun.

Sunset Sunday playa Almerimar Andalusia

Hello Photo lovers, 

A long time ago I spend my morning in the heather field of the Mookerheide. I had a job close by this area in the morning so I thought go there very early and take some sunrise pictures of this nature reserve before I have that appointment. I wanted to visit this area for a while now so that was very convenient. 

In this nature reserve are Scottish highlander cows grazing. They are here to keep the grass and young trees away from the heather fields. They want to keep it a more open field ant doing that by hand or with machines is not an option. So these cows are very handy. And for people it's also a very nice subject to go and visit.  

They are not really wild animals but you do need to keep your distance from them. Specially if they have a young. I don't really know what a safe distance is so if I saw them move a bit ore look at me to much I walked back to the road again.

I started with some heather plants and some panoramic shots of the area.

After about 15 minutes and a couple of small hills later, I saw my first highlander cow.

This cow kept looking at me and that flt strange. I know they wont run towards you to tremble over you but I saw the black cow in the grass next to it and I really had no idea what kind of animal that was. I kept my distance from them.

This is the closes I got. It stayed down all morning, so if I want to see it better I need to go back here some day.

Further away there was a nither group of cows. They looked more friendly to me.

I really hoped this one would turn around and look at me. that would have been a nice picture. Al l this was already pretty close so maybe I would run if he had done that.

Spotting high lander cows in the heather field

Hello everybody,

How are you all doing?

I am a little but in chock today. My car needed its two yearly safety checkup. Normally it's every year but my car is older than 30 so it is stretched a little more. But I got the quote in the email today and that was not fun to read.

I had huge problems with oil leaking on my drive belt and water pump and they found significant rust on the beams of the bumper. Also the break system and exhaust needed a big fix. All together it would be a bill of more that 3000 euro's.

That is going to be a very very big dent in my budget. It made me very sad that this is coming on my path now. I am going to budget very hard the next months. No outdoor dinners ore nights out. And hopefully the bill isn't going to be as much as they have calculated. Because I still need a car and not fixing this means that I need to buy another car. I could buy a car for 3000 euro's but than I cant travel around any more.  
 
And who doesn't want to stay overnight like this? Lastres Colunga in the north of Spain.

This was a nice field at the edge of the town. A very good location to go sleep quietly at night. And you were in town within minutes on the bicycle. So an ideal camper spot.  
The golden sunlight was very pretty shining on the green grass. Those clouds are finishing it off
this nice landscape picture.

I tried to capture the sun star trough the window of my van. I see that I need to clean my lens next time I do this. The dirt is reflecting the sunshine.

My van at sunset in better days. 

Hello photolovers,

Are there also street photography fans here? I have been to Santiago de Compostella and of course that's is a very familiar city. It's a big city were many Pilgrim routes are going to. From all over the world people are walking towards Santiago. there are many starting points and therefor many routs but they all come together in this city.

I went there to see a friend of my. She had walked the route from Portugal to Santiago. She walked for tree weeks or so. And of course that means she was done walking. So I went out in the city and strolled around all these pretty streets. 

Here is what I came home with.

I wanted to capture the people who were walking a Pilgrim route but they walked trough the busiest street in town. Many tourists and walkers there and it was just to much. So i went of route and just walked trough the small backstreets. 

I started with an empty street. looks good but i really need people in the picture.

Hello everybody,

During my travelling through Spain and Portugal, I ended up in Santander the North of Spain. It was the last stop on my trip because I was heading home already. I could have traveled trough France and go discover some places there but after three months I thought this city would be a nice last stop.

There are so many colorful houses in this city. Thet makes me happy to walk around there.

It's steeeeeep.... I drove my bike around the city but that was not doable. I did use those escalators a lot because that was just awesome to see them in the middle of the city. We only have them in the mall's, airports and trainstations.

Not all the building were that colorful, the new once, probably office buildings, were a 9 on the scale of grey. but with this purple car in front of it it looked nice.

I also found some reflection perfection. Also a church with some terraces in front of it. So people can go from church directly to the pub.

Very nice to see that people are living outside. The weather was very nice. it was in spring time so people were probably in needed for some vitamin D.

This is a market hall. I went in there to look for a toilet. They were already cleaning up and most of the stores were already closed. I cant believe I didn't even took pictures inside.

And no city in Europe without a church. The stairs around there were pretty nice. Yes, it's a steep city. I really felt it in my legs the next day.

Discovering the city of Santander, Spain!

Hello my friends,

how are you all doing today?
I spend a day breaking my head over my taxes and I did a lot of editing today. I am almost ready with the pictures that I took during my three months van life tour trough Spain and Portugal. I didn't work full time on it but it did cost me a lot of time.

Here are some nice sunset pictures I took there. I made them on the beach of Almerimar El Ejido in Andalusia.

In the distance there are a lot of small fishing boats floating around. I didn't Photoshop them off the picture because I thought they belong there. What do you think, is it a disturbance and do I need to remove them?

Sunset at the beach Andalusia Spain

Hello weekend lovers,

Here is a series of pictures that I made in Santander in the North of Spain.
This is the outside of museum Centro Botín. Th building is designed by Renzo Piano and has got a remarkable place in the city. It's located at the shoreline of the inner sea fondeadero de la osa.

At the other side there is a beautiful view over the old city of Santander. Next to the Pereda Garden and the boulevard.

Besides the museum, this building also houses creative hubs and you can organize events in this location to. There is a cafe and bar and the roof is freely accessible so every body can enjoy the views.

I made a panorama picture to try and capture the scale of the building. It's a little warped but it shows you what it needt to show.

When you are on top of the building, the views down are very cool. I saw so many lines and so many different possibilities to take pictures that I kept photographing. Parts of the building is hanging over the water and that gives very nice perspectives.

The shadows and the people walking underneath the building on the boulevard are very cool to capture.

And the views over the bay towards the mountains is very pretty.

There are many windows in the building. The view from inside is also pretty nice. But that I am going to show you in a different post.

The other side of the building is very green. It has a stunning view over the old city center and the park along the boulevard.

Even in of season this is a very touristic place.

The open space in between the building gives a perfect view from back to forward.

Museum Centro Botín in Santander Spain. 

Hello Wednesday walkers,

Here are some pictures of a sunset beach walk at Playa Almerimar Andalusia Spain. 
In the winter months it is a very quiet here on the beach. Not many people are living here, there are many holiday houses along the beach. 

But the temperatures are still so good in November and December, I still was walking in my shorts those days. While the average Spaniard walks around with a winter coat on. 

The golden hour was perfect. There was hardly any wind so the water was like a mirror. that was promising for when the sunset really set's.

I was also walking the dog this day. So I took pictures with my telephone instead of my camera. Here doggy saw something in the water. It looked like a ball so she was completely focused on it.

The golden color also reflected very nicely of the buildings on the boulevard.

Wednesday Walk

Wednesday walk, Playa Almerimar

Hello photo lovers,

I am driving around Europe in my van now for the past six years now. I bought "Azul" in march 2019. One of the spots that I have visited is the North coast of Spain. Yes I think that was my favorite place That I have drove around. the whole North coast is beautiful but the best part is for sure Asturias region.  

The rugged coast line is astonishing. Beautiful beaches as far as the eye can see. It's so green there that sometimes it looks like Jurassic park.

I found a hiking trail that took me along 21km of this coats line. That was not really my plan to walk that far but I wanted to do a part of it. I started out at this art piece. There were a couple of vans parked here already so I was not alone that night.

The first beach I came across was Playa de Cambaredo. It was a pretty steep walk down to the water. I am not really used to steep walks. I always feel that in my leggs afterwards.

Lovely flowers are standing on top of the cliffs. You can use them to make a nice dept of field photo. I just wanted to show you how big it was here.

So green here on the cliffs.

And some time that pathway goes all the way down. The green rocks look amazing. I love to see those colors in nature.

This was a very beautiful spot. I saw some girls hanging out here and I was a bit jealous. How wonderful would that be if you can grow up here.

I often take pictures of signs around me. Than I can google the location when I am home or when I am making a post about a place on Hive. For to day I was looking on google maps if I could find Playa sin humo.... No where to be found. Until I typed it in the normal google. He translated it for my directly... No smoking beach...

When I saw this singe I thought it was time to turn around. 
I didn't follow the whole route. Sometimes the route went away from the beach towards the villages, but I wanted to continue walking along the coast.

A walk along the Spanish North coast.

Hello Wednesday walkers,

Here are some hiking pictures from the Normandy coast in France. I traveled around there in my van and I walked many different routes along the coast were the soldiers came ashore during D-day.

With that in mind it were pretty impressive walks. There is a lot of history there along the shore and on those cliffs. If you have the change, go and visit Normandy.  

The beaches are beautiful and it's not only sand. I like these rocky shorelines more that just the sand. it's very good for photographing sunsets with long exposures. But then the clouds need to not be there.

I love these landscapes with the green and the red roofs of the houses.

I would so life here if I could pay for it. look how cute those houses are.

This ship is only visible at the lowest point of the tides. It's far away on the beach and it's not visible for a long time. You have to be quick. They told me it's a ship from WW2 and it was transporting soldiers during D-day.

In some places the beaches are very big. Sand as far the eye reaches.

This was a cool find. I needed to be quickly but to bad they flew away very quick. I could make one picture of them but it's a little blur. But i am still clad I have them in a picture.

Look at all those shapes and colors that I came across along the beach.

And the last pictures are from the sunset. Always good to see these colors in the sky as a desert.

These beaches are a must visit. To see the beautiful shore lines but definitely the history that has happened here.
