It's another amazing week, and you know what that means - it's the 5th edition of the weekly prompt to spark your creativity and get those ideas flowing in. Hive Student Connect is a community where students on Hive share their blogs. It is a vibrant space for Hive students to engage, learn, connect, and collaborate to grow and develop.

Whether you are currently a student or have already finished school, you are welcome to share your perspective. 

This is your chance to express yourself and connect with others in the community.

**"How Do You Balance Academics With Other Life's Commitment?"**
</center>

We have been students before, especially those who have graduated, and those currently in school; we sure do have commitments aside from being students in school. Going to school to study and come out with successful grades wasn't and isn't the only thing on our plate. Many of us juggle other responsibilities, be it part-time jobs, learning a skill, family duties, side hustles, social life, church activities or even personal hobbies. We invite you to think and share how you manage all of these without being a distraction to others. While chasing after your academics, did it affect your other commitments or vice versa? 

Think about your typical day. Perhaps you have a routine that helps you create and manage your time effectively for both your study and other responsibilities, or maybe you go to work in the evening after lectures, while the mornings are meant for reading. Are/were you involved in campus activities, or fellowship, or even a club, and you have found the perfect way to allocate your time between meetings, assignments, tests, exams and your personal life.

Let's say, for example, "During exam season, I wake up earlier than usual to read my notes before going out to work. It is not easy, but one thing I have learnt is to prioritise and plan to save myself from unnecessary delays or last-minute stress. On weekends, I dedicate my evenings to learn a skill and also spend time with my family so I don't feel guilty about neglecting them."

So, tell us! Share your tips on how you manage your time and your struggles. We want to know about even those funny scenarios, so we can enjoy the fun in our posts. Who knows? Your approach might inspire another person who is a student to know how to navigate their academics and commitments.

We have decided to host a weekly contest aimed at becoming a community with better engagement and having more presence on Hive. These contests will be organised each week to boost creativity among members of the community, help new and budding writers to show more creativity, help increase their personal growth on the platform and build better connections along with getting some good prizes in turn.  
 
We encourage everyone to step forward and contribute to this. You can help by either taking parts in these contests, giving feedback and constructive criticism to the entries, supporting the entries or by sponsoring these contest. - Use the #iucontest as your main tag, failing to do will invalidate your entry. 
 
- No use of AI tools like ChatGPT for writing your posts. We want to hear your thoughts not AI's. 

- Make sure to properly source you images and don't use copyrighted images.
 
- The post should have at least 350 original words per language (in case you decide to make a dual language post, be more specific don't make it lengthy).  

- Add this contest's post link in your post so others can find us easily.
 
- Leave a link to your entry as a comment to this post. 
 
- One entry post per account/user.  

- Open to all not just the Indian citizens.
 
- Re-blog, upvote and share this contest post with others to spread the word. (Optional)
