This photo "Frozen World from above" was taken in December 2024 in a little valley in Slovenia nearby. As mentioned in other posts before, we didn't have much snow this Winter, and so most white stuff on the grass and trees is hoarfrost.I have taken the image with my drone, a DJI Mini 4 Pro, which I love to fly, but due to so many restrictions it's not easy to find places like this one, where you are allowed to fly.<center><hr>

It is a focus stack image and Helicon Focus has put the about 30 photos nicely together to a sharp image. The editing work was done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.<center><hr>

This old rotten root that I have found during a walk through a beech forest seems to be surrounded by little green stars.It's a focus stack image from about 30 photos, taken with my Canon EOS R5 and the RF 100mm Macro lens. The images were stacked with Helicon Focus and edited in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.<center><hr>

This photo was shot in Slovenia a couple of days before I took the panorama photo in Italy. This brook also isn't there usually, but due to the heavy rainfalls the days before, a nice stream was flowing down between these beautiful mossy boulders.<center><hr>

I liked that fern photo so much that I've come back to the same woodland and searched for more ... and I found more such scenes like this one: a tiny little green plant growing between old Autumn leaves.<center><hr>
