At midnight, the picture on the wall whispered my name. It kept repeating it, but it was the first time. But when I woke up, I thought it was just my imagination. It's probably just that. Besides, I haven't been sleeping well these past few days.

I was completely wrong. At different times, I would end up hearing my name being said. I felt so scared that this was happening. I don't know what's going on, but it gives me chills. But as the week went by, I felt threatened every time someone called my name.

I told my friends what was happening to me every night, but they told me I was crazy. But I told them it wasn't true, that if they wanted, someone could stay and sleep with me. Although they were hesitant, they ended up agreeing. I told them that they wouldn't use my name while the matter was being resolved. The good thing is that they did agree now, but I hope it's for good reasons.

I told my mom that some friends were staying over. We all leaned out to stay up and have fun, so much so that they were making a lot of jokes. I told them not to make those jokes, because they were true. But they took it very lightly as the night wore on.

They started to hear a voice saying my name. They thought someone was making some kind of joke because everyone else started laughing except me until, amidst their laughter, they heard it again. Their expressions changed completely to frightened. Now you'll believe what I'm telling you is true.

They nodded, finally a relief, but they asked me what painting it was, so I pointed it out, but at that moment the voice from the painting said that the requirements had been met, that this wasn't some kind of ghost, so what's going on?

She began to tell us a story about how she painted this painting. It's a painting that was painted in the ancient future by a very famous artist. This was her last painting before she disappeared. But she wasn't going to tell us more because we weren't prepared for what really happened to her. Despite being an artist, she was a scientist who has developed many things under this anonymity.

This painting contains many secrets about the things that will happen to you in the future and can help you avoid many things that will not only endanger you, but also humanity. You are the same girl and owner of this painting. You can trust your friends to help you overcome every obstacle that lies ahead.

We were all surprised. Perhaps this painting traveled back in time, but how could it have reached the past? At one point, I think I must be very clever if I was always the one who barely passed each of my subjects. I can't really believe this, but I'm just seeing it right in front of me.

This is where my adventure will begin with my friends, how hard my future will be, but I hope to find all the answers and I thought that the supernatural did not exist, but the painting said that it really does exist, but you will know it in a couple of months the approach, but I had nothing to fear for the moment, wait as if for the moment maybe something will come.

A medianoche, el cuadro en la pared susurró mi nombre, estuvo repitiendo mi nombre, pero era la primera ocasión que, pero al despertar pensé que solo era mi imaginación, si lo más seguro que sea solo eso además no he estado durmiendo bien en estos días.

Estaba totalmente equivocado a distintas horas terminaba escuchando como decía mi nombre, sentía mucho temor porque estaba sucediendo esto, no sé qué es lo que sucede, pero me da unos escalofríos, pero al pasar la semana me sentí amenazado cada vez que alguien me llamaba por mi nombre.

Le estuve contando a mis amigos lo que me sucedía cada noche que pasa, pero me decían que estaba loco, pero les decía que en verdad no era así, que si querían podía quedarse alguien a dormirse conmigo, aunque estaban en duda terminaron aceptando dentro de lo cual les mencione que en lo que se resolvía no usaran mi nombre, pues lo bueno que ahora si aceptaron, pero espero que sea por buenas razones.

Le dije a mi mama que se quedarían unas amigas a dormir en casa, todos nos asomamos para estar en vela y divirtiéndonos, tanto que hacían muchas bromas el cual les dije no hagan esas bromas que, si es verdad, pero se lo tomaron muy relajado mientras pasaba cada vez más la noche.

Derrápense empezaron a escuchar una voz que decía mi nombre, pensaban que alguna estaba haciendo algún tipo de broma porque se empezaron a reír todas las demás menos yo hasta que entre sus risas lo volvieron a escuchar, cambiaron su expresión completamente a espantadas, ahora si me creen que sea verdad lo que les digo.

Asentaron con la cabeza, por fin es un alivio, pero me preguntaron que cuadro era, así que le señale, pero en ese momento dijo la voz del cuadro que los requisitos se han completado, que estaba pasando esto no era un tipo de fantasma entonces que está sucediendo.

Comenzó a contarnos una historia, sobre cómo fue pintando este cuadro, es un cuadro que se pintó de forma antigua en el futuro donde una artista muy famosa este fue su último cuadro antes de que desapareciera, pero no nos iba a decir más porque no estábamos preparados a lo que le sucedió realmente, pero a pesar de ser una artista era una científica que ha desarrollador muchas cosas bajo este anonimato.

Esta pintura contiene muchos secretos de las cosas que te sucederán en el futuro y puedan ayudarte a evitar muchas que no solo te pondrán en peligro, si no también a la humanidad, tú eres la misma chica y dueña de esta pintura, el cual puedes confiar en tus amigas que te ayudaran a superar cada obstáculo que está por venir.

Nos quedamos todas sorprendidas, acaso este cuadro viajo en el tiempo, pero como pudo haber llegado al pasado, pero un momento como que puede ser muy lista si fui siempre la que apenas pasaba cada una de las materias, en verdad puedo creer esto, pero si justamente lo estoy viendo enfrente.

Aquí es donde comenzará mi aventura junto a mis amigas, que tan duro será mi futuro, pero espero encontrar todas las respuestas y yo pensaba que lo sobrenatural no existía, pero el cuadro dijo que en verdad si existe, pero lo conocerás en un par de meses el acercamiento, pero no tenía nada que temer por el momento, espera como que por el momento acaso se vendrá algo.

At midnight, the painting on the wall whispered my name.

—"Alan"— I thought it was a nightmare, but I wasn't asleep; I was paralyzed in my bed, only able to tilt my head to look for the person joking with me... But I was alone in my room.

My eyes landed on the portrait hanging in front of me, the face of my maternal great-grandfather stared back at me.

—“Alan, it’s me”— I heard it again... he called me again, this time more forcefully, the voice emerging from the canvas.

A chill ran down my spine; it was sheer terror. I focused on not losing my mind. How could this even be possible? My great-grandfather had died decades ago, I didn't even know his voice, but this portrait was moving its lips and blinking.
Persistently, the voice continued: —“Alan, it’s urgent. You must listen to me”—

The paralysis prevented me from jumping in fright; fleeing in terror was not an option. The portrait seemed to come to life; the old man's facial expressions looked very real, and he said to me:
—“The truth about our lineage must be known once and for all. Trust what I'm telling you”—

After saying that, he fell silent for a long time; it took me a while to realize that the painting had returned to normal and that I had regained my mobility.

I got up and walked toward the picture. I examined it closely, but I found nothing irregular.

—“What must I do?”— I asked the portrait, but there was no response.

At midnight, the picture on the wall whispered my name. I was lying under the warm covers of my bed, falling asleep, when suddenly I heard its soft call again.

My body went limp as I watched a small picture that adorned my room call me over and over again.

If I told this to the world, they'd tell me I'm losing my mind, as my mind kept repeating to itself. I lit up the room, and there was the image from my childhood, repeating my name tirelessly.

I approached and asked what he wanted so badly. He didn't hesitate to answer: "I saw you walking hand in hand with a man." I ran to the calendar to check how much time had passed. I went through the room to check the toy closets and the Swiss flag hanging from the door handle, which had vanished.


Where did the innocence go? That piggish smell, the ribbons in your curls, the box of dishes, your beloved things that Mom didn't throw away?

Time has definitely passed. But not that much. I'm more surprised I didn't realize that love was so close to you.

And without further ado, he fell silent again. It was already twelve thirty. The magic seemed to slowly fade away, like in a fairy tale.

More than amazement at what had happened, an indescribable nostalgia flooded my body and soul. Now I am the mother of a boy who will take flight in a few years. Now I understand my mother when she always claims I'm her little girl even though I'm older. Now I look at my photo and remember my childhood, so happy and somewhat fleeting. I promised, at that very moment, staring at my image, that I would never lose a part of my childhood, so important to understanding and experiencing life better.

 A media noche, el cuadro de la pared susurró mi nombre.Yo me encontraba bajo las cálidas cobijas de mi cama conciliando el sueño, cuando de repente escuché otra vez su suave llamado.

Mi cuerpo quedó inerte, al ver como un pequeño cuadro que adornaba mi cuarto me llamaba una y otra vez. 

Si esto lo contase yo al mundo me dirían que estoy perdiendo el juicio, no dejaba de repetir mi mente para sí. Alumbré la habitación y ahí estaba la imagen de mi niñez, repitiendo mi nombre sin descanso alguno.

Me acerqué y pregunté que deseaba con tanta insistencia. Él no dudò en contestarme: Te he visto pasar de la mano de un hombre y corrí al calendario a comprobar cuánto tiempo pasó y pasé por el cuarto a revisar los armarios de juguetes y la suiza que colgada de la manilla de la puerta , se esfumó. 

¿Dónde quedó la inocencia, ese olor a pòrbulo, los lazos de tus crespos, la caja de tus trastes, tus queridos tarecos que mamá no botò? 

Sin dudas ha pasado el tiempo . Pero no tanto, más me sorprende no haberme dado cuenta que tenías tan cerca el amor.

Y sin más volvió a quedarse en silencio, ya eran las doce y media. La magia parecía esfumarse lentamente como en los cuentos de princesa.

Más que asombro de lo ocurrido, inundó mi cuerpo y alma una nostalgia indescriptible, ahora soy mamá de un niño que dentro de algunos años desprenderá su vuelo, ahora entiendo a mi mamá cuando siempre alega que soy su niña aunque esté mayor, ahora veo mi foto y recuerdo mi infancia, tan feliz y algo efímera. Prometí en ese mismo instante mirando fijamente mi imagen que jamás perdería parte de mi niñez, tan importante para entender y sentir mejor la vida.
