## What is Swarm of Swarms?

This is a new series of blogs where we will share updates from the Hive development community. The content consists of meeting notes from a virtual developer meeting, titled 'Swarm of Swarms,' which adheres to the Bee Hive theme. We have been doing this for around 30 weeks, without posting the content on-chain or elsewhere. As we broadcast more widely, I hope everyone can gain greater visibility into all the Hive project development.

The Swarm of Swarms is a virtual gathering where blockchain developers building on the Hive network converge to share project updates, insights, and knowledge. This decentralized meet-up brings together a collective of innovators and visionaries from the Hive ecosystem, specifically those developing applications and use cases on the blockchain. As participants join the Swarm, they are exposed to ideas, solutions, and experiences, allowing them to expand their professional networks and gain a deeper understanding of the rapidly evolving Hive ecosystem. Through this virtual convergence, the Swarm of Swarms aims to cultivate a culture of open communication, mutual support, and collective growth among its members.

I send weekly reminders to the participating development teams, encouraging them to share their progress in the Mattermost 'Swarm of Swarms' channel. Other developers can visit this channel to learn about the projects other teams are working on. The hope is that open communication will inspire more side conversations and collaborations. 👏 I appreciate the development team leaders who take a few minutes each week to share their latest achievements. There is room for more participation, and the coffee is free.

The world has changed, the country with the highest number of scientific publications worldwide is currently China, it is something that no one expected 40 years ago, China's progression is spectacular, the United States continues to be an important leader in high-impact publications and other nations with high production are the United Kingdom, Germany and India, which is also pulling strong.
 
But China is in first place in terms of the total number of scientific articles published and has a large number of researchers and this is very noticeable in the amount of news and scientific records that the Asian giant is starring in. 
 
Some nations do not have a great social interest in science and the media or television or even the public does not help either, but those of us who are interested in science at least have a lot of passion, but this does not happen in other countries where all these technologies and all these advances are being developed, because at the end of the day developing technology and advances also means developing the economy of those nations.

In the last year, China has obtained 69% of artificial intelligence patents, and artificial intelligence is the great tool of the coming years, because artificial intelligence will be needed not only for computer issues but for everything, not just a car or a toy, everything will be united and will have the implication of artificial intelligence, what's more, China, although it sounds amazing, is the country that has the most robots installed in its industries, 276,000.

In any case, look at the technological change that all this is entailing and of course, it is not only a technological change, it is also an industrial, economic and cultural change, this is going to take a cultural toll throughout the world, we think that Hollywood, or European culture, that may also end, it may not be like that, but in the next century, or from mid-century onwards, it may even change sooner.
 
The world has changed and in the future it may be closer than you think, perhaps the language of science itself is not English, but Chinese, but in this race, because of how tomorrow will be, you are not going to win by running more, it also influences how useless your opponents are, some nations with their entire societies have rested on their laurels that in reality are already dry and dusty, it seems that the one who "invents them" has triumphed in them.

In one of my previous posts, I talked about how our daily actions reflect, or contradict, our core values. But even when those two elements are aligned, many people still feel lost, drained, or overwhelmed. Why? Based on my experience coaching people for nearly 30 years, it almost always comes down to the absence of a clear Life Vision.

## Put Your Vision into Words
### Here are a few tips that might help you begin shaping your Life Vision—or refining the one you already have:

* Zoom out and ask yourself, "at the end of my life, how would I like to be remembered?" Don’t just think about your work. Consider your health, relationships, contributions, creativity, etc.
* Connect it to your values. Make sure your vision reflects what is truly valuable to you. Otherwise, it won’t be authentic nor sustainable.
* Write it in the present tense. “I live, I lead, I create, I contribute, I'm grateful, I give, etc" Writing in the present helps train your mind to act accordingly.
* Revisit and refine it regularly. Come back to your vision often. It doesn’t need to be perfect, it needs to stay connected to your path.

Are You Building from a Clear Vision?

Hi ya'll, guess what I've been doing... yup, vibe coding... this is my latest project: in.Zana sound designer.

I am feeling a bit sick right now and my brain is not braining so I basically asked GPT-5 mini to generate this post. I will be adding notes (in quotes) in case it is necessary but after the next heading, most content will be the AI talking, just read it with my voice only a bit more robotic.

I built in.Zana as a compact, hands-on synth and visualizer that fits in a browser tab. It’s a small instrument that puts the core building blocks of synthesis — oscillators, noise, ADSR envelopes, filters, and delay — into a single, playful UI so you can experiment with sound design in seconds.

Why I built it I wanted a place to sketch sonic ideas quickly without launching a DAW. in.Zana is a tool for prototyping textures, learning how envelopes and filters shape tone, and having fun with realtime visual feedback. It’s also a practical demo of the Web Audio API and how a simple audio graph can power expressive sound.

> does the AI actually know why I built it? well... It started because I wanted to have visual controllers of the Web Audio API and the JS code so I could copy paste it to future projects... I just couldn't stop there. I guess that's what the AI said... 🙄

## What it does (features)

- Oscillator + noise sources with selectable waveforms for classic timbres.
- ADSR envelope shaping (attack/decay/sustain/release) for natural note articulation.
- Filter node with multiple types (lowpass, highpass, etc.) and realtime cutoff control.
- Delay with feedback for lush echoes and rhythmic effects.
- Realtime visualizers — waveform and generative visuals that respond to the audio.
- Computer keyboard musical mapping (chromatic mapping from a middle-C base).
- Theme and skin system so you can switch day/night and color accents.
- Files to look at: `index.html` (UI & presets), `app.js` (audio engine & visualizers), `styles.css` and `themes.css` (presentation).

Development — the bits you don’t see This shipped as a single-page app with the audio logic in app.js. The audio graph follows a simple but flexible chain: source → envelope → filter → delay → reverb → master → analyser → destination. A few engineering details I leaned on:

- Always resume the AudioContext when interaction starts (browsers suspend contexts by default).
- Recreate certain nodes each session via `createNodes()` so filter/delay changes don’t linger in weird states.
- Use exponential ramps for attack/decay/release where possible — it sounds more natural.
- Keep an `activeSources` array and properly clean up finished nodes to avoid memory leaks.

## Time and process (assumption)
This was a focused solo project completed in about six weeks of evenings and weekend sessions. During that time I iterated on the UI to make controls feel immediate and tuned envelopes and filter behavior by ear. Your mileage will vary — the code is intentionally compact so you can fork it and experiment fast.

## Challenges & experiments

- Getting envelopes to feel musical with short attack/release times took most of the aural testing.
- Finding a balance between responsive visuals and low CPU usage for the waveform/generative canvas.
- Making preset loading/wiring robust so saved presets map to the right UI controls.


Try it Open `index.html` in a modern browser (Chrome/Edge/Firefox). Play with the keyboard mapping or click the virtual keys, switch skins, tweak ADSR, and watch the visualizers respond.

## What’s next

- Add modular LFO routing (for vibrato / filter modulation).
- Add a simple patch-save / export feature and more built-in presets.
- Support MIDI input for hardware keyboard play.

So I've been playing around with this pocket code it's an app on android where you can make video games inside it.

This is the application if you want to check it out yourself. 


So after I study and play around with it and watch few hours of YouTube videos and manage to make 2 simple game 1 which is unfinished. I found out it is possible to make a Full game but it depends on my phone which I am using an old model of honor phone so it won't be able to take the size and the graphic that I am building.

Because I already started making the games might as well try it out. This is what I manage to make shown in the video.

So the first part of the video you can see two characters one vampire and one enemy inspired by my own logo. Also I made a fireball it's supposed to shoot fireball at the enemy but it stuck on the screen instead 😂😂😂

The second one I made the characters smaller so we have more space to move them around which I think it's perfect for a mobile game. But I can't seem to make the characters hit each other and HP wise unable to code it.

The third one I changed the graphic all of it. Also I learn how to put music in them and it's my own music so it will be 100% my own creations things start to look better. 

As for the fourth part of the video I manage to make a simple clicker game. After I made all this I realized I need to have a better phone in order to create a full game with pocket code. I saw some videos on YouTube one guy manage to make one map and Zelda looking game it was perfect but the coding takes a lot of time just to build smooth walking movement and also I tried to upload the game and notice so much bugs in this pocket code app.

Just to show you the codes in pocket code app. So now I think I'm ready to move on from this app to godot engine this is free open source gaming engine it can build 2d and 3d game I will use my laptop for this one.

Well learning curve will be more but I'm sure I will be able to build something. This update just to show my process on making video game as I told you in the first part of this blog I'm making. I failed so many years to make video games but I wanna build at least one game for Hive that's my goal no matter what and no matter how long it takes I'm gonna do it.

Hello, my dear Hivers! @itsmemic once again, and today I want to share with you one of the highlights of our OJT journey, our Work Ethics Seminar. You might be wondering why we only had this seminar now, even though we already started our duty. Well, our department actually begins OJT earlier than most, usually during summer classes before the first semester of 4th year. Normally, this type of seminar is conducted and oriented during the first semester of 4th year students. That explains why it came a bit later for us, but as they say, better late than never!

**The Adjustment of Schedule**

Originally, the orientation was supposed to be on weekdays. But since most of us were already busy with our OJT duty, our dean kindly requested the speakers, especially our guidance counselor, if they could move the seminar to the weekend. Luckily, the counselor consented, and the seminar was then rescheduled to Saturday at 8:00 AM.

I was able to be on time when the day came. But as expected, only a few students were there early. Filipino time! Because of that, our teacher extended the start to 8:30 AM to give a little consideration to the latecomers. By 8:30, whether or not others had arrived, the program had to begin since the official call time was really 8:00.

I sat in the second row, which is always my favorite spot in events like this. It’s close enough to hear the speaker clearly and keeps me focused all throughout the session.

**The Seminar Proper**

The seminar was all about Work Ethics, which is a very significant topic especially for us students doing OJT. The speaker pointed out the traits and values that we must have in the work environment like being on time, showing respect, taking responsibility, being professional, and working as a team. It was first a refresher of what we learned and secondly, a reminder that while technical skills are important, good work ethics are the ones that really differentiate us as future professionals. 


One thing that I liked most about the seminar was that it's not just a lecture but also an interactive one. The examples provided were very close to our actual OJT experiences, such as the way we treat our superiors, time management, and the proper way of handling our small mistakes.


**The Activity**


Before the seminar ended, we were grouped into four groups for the activity. A white cartolina and a black marker were given to each group. The given task was to record the problems that we had encountered during OJT and to come up with potential solutions. 

The activity was pretty entertaining and quite engaging as it allowed us to think about our own challenges and expose them to others. Some of the situations that they talked about were workers struggling with the new working environment, handling too much work, and having communication problems with their supervisors. Writing down the solutions also gave us very good and practical ways to tackle similar situations in the future. It was like learning not from what we have gone through but also from our classmates' points of view.

After the seminar, I was given a certificate of participation. I share it here as part of my blog, so that when clearance time comes at the end of the semester, I can easily backread and find proof of attendance. Hahaha, life hack!

Before we left the room, we had a group photo with everyone. It was such a beautiful way to end the seminar by capturing the moment together as one batch. Those small bonding moments really matter, especially since our OJT schedules often keep us apart.
