Kites can soar for long periods without flapping their wings, which suits their nature perfectly: they're slow and don't like to make unnecessary movements. This has earned them the nickname "lazy predators."
They can hunt small rodents, lizards, fish, nestlings, and eggs, but why bother when you can just steal scraps of food from the trash?

 These birds have a very interesting way of displaying their rank and status. They often decorate their nests with various objects, preferring scraps of white bags. The stronger the birds, the more vibrantly decorated their nests. The more vibrantly decorated a nest is, the more vigorously rival nestmates attack it.

These graceful, sharp-bodied birds emerge in early to mid-May. They nest on sandy and pebble spits and islands in lakes and rivers. They build nests on flat sandy shores or on reed beds.

 It feeds primarily on small fish, and to a lesser extent on insects, aquatic vertebrates, small lizards, and frogs. It hunts in a characteristic manner, regularly hovering in midair during its search flight, diving, and diving into the water completely submerged.

This bird is slightly larger than its closest relative, the chaffinch. In spring, the male has a black head, back, wings, and tail. In autumn, the coloring is brownish. The female is grayish-brown, ochre.
They appear in the forests around my city around early April, and occasionally in late March, depending on the weather. But the strange thing is, they only appear for a short time; after mating season, they fly away. However, in the summer, I see them regularly in the pine forest outside the city.

 These birds can hardly be called good singers; their repertoire consists of short chirps and buzzing songs.
They feed primarily on plant matter, seeds, and berries, but in spring and summer they eat insects.

I encountered a flock of these Pinocchios on a lake at the end of September. They were standing on their long legs in the cold water, resting.

In the flooded meadows outside the city, I constantly see large flocks of seagulls resting on small islands of land in the middle of the water.

These ducks live on the river that runs alongside the city. In the summer, family flocks can be seen resting on the banks and islands.

This is a Common Myna bird. This is a common and beautiful bird. It is especially seen in large numbers in crop fields. I have seen these birds in very few houses where there are trees. They are seen where the number of people in the locality is very low. This are seen various crops land. It is a small sized bird. These birds are usually seen in crop fields and roads. These birds are most often seen there.

This is a common birds in our house. This is a Common Myna bird. It live in our house tree. Basically, these birds live in a tree branch. Especially at the daylong it was seen in our yard, these birds spend the night in small nests. Even no matter how stormy it is, these birds always stay here and spend the night. It is surprising that I have been seeing these birds for a long time living our tree. Basically, these birds stay in small thin nests under the leaves. Which is really nice.

Olof Rudbeck junior, Swedish botanist and birdwatcher, mentor to Carl Linnaeus, having discovered the bluethroat in 1695 in Lapland, he gave it the name Avis Carolina in honor of the Swedish king Charles XI and the blue-yellow Swedish flag (in those days the yellow color on the flag was more reddish), and K. Linnaeus in 1758, when the absolute power of the monarchy in Sweden was no longer, considered the name svecica more correct than carolina (Jobling, 2010)

This nightingale, about the size of a sparrow, usually hides deep in bushes and thickets, or on the ground. It tries to remain unseen, but in the spring it deviates from this principle and may sing its mating song demonstratively, especially if other males are nearby.
The presence of open water near bluethroats is no coincidence. This is due not only to their favorite insect hunting grounds but also to their constant need to bathe.

 The blue throat, with a white or rufous spot in the center, is particularly noteworthy. This is a distinctive mark of sorts. Northern and eastern subspecies have a rufous "star," while southern, western, and central Russian males typically have a "white star."

Pigeons are birds that are already common and part of the urban landscape of the city, adapted to life in the city where they live near squares and places where there is a lot of influx of people and nearby trees where they can perch, although they also often use some spaces in houses or buildings as nesting areas.

These birds, symbols of peace, something we Venezuelans strongly desire, are peaceful and trusting birds that have grown accustomed to the presence of humans and see them as sources of food, approaching very close without fear. Even though they are nervous birds, they are nevertheless trusting and many eat even from the hands of the people who feed them or, as in the photo, between people's feet.

So, these pigeons seen in the photos are located near the entrance to Sabas Nieves, a very popular spot to enter the Avila and spend some quality time in contact with nature on the Ávila Mountain in Caracas. Although this place isn't as well-known for feeding the pigeons, Plaza Bolívar is also very popular for taking a stroll with your partner, eating ice cream or popcorn, and feeding the pigeons or squirrels you find there.

Las palomas son aves que son ya común y parte del paisaje urbano de la ciudad, adaptadas a la vida en la ciudad en donde viven cerca de plazas y sitios donde allá mucha afluencia de personas y arboles cerca donde posarse aunque también suelen usar de zonas para anidar algunos espacios de casas o edificios.

Estas aves símbolos de paz, algo que los venezolanos deseamos con fuerza, son aves pacificas y confiadas, que se han acostumbrado a la presencia de los seres humanos y los ven como fuentes de alimentación, acercándose mucho sin miedo, aun cuando son aves nerviosas, sin embargo son confiadas y muchas comen hasta de la mano de las personas que los alimentan o como en la foto entre los pies de las personas.

Así estas palomas que se ven en las fotos que se localizan cerca de la entrada a Sabas nieves un sitio muy popular para entrar en el avila y pasar un buen rato en contacto con la naturaleza en la montaña del Ávila en caracas. Aun cuando este lugar no es tan conocido para ir a alimentar a las palomas esta también la plaza bolivar que es muy popular para ir a pasear con la pareja, comer un helado o cotufa y alimentar a las palomas o ardillas que allí se encuentren.
